I’m surprised you didn’t mention the arcane curio cabinet nerf. 80% inventory reduction. From 200 slots to a measly 40. That’s less than a large chest while taking up 10x the amount of space. We need to protest this change!!!

I'll admit I'm really excited for the expanded Turanian set. I appreciate they give some love to their DLC and vanilla sets. Hope Stonebrick gets that treatment too. Also, THERE'S A CAMEL! Most looking forward to the Golems and the future update that'll let them farm by themselves.

on test live i was able to bring a golem to a area full of stone set then to harvest and then tell them to stop following and they kept harvesting till the scouting condition brought them home, or I grabbed another thrall. so if your good on your own you can leave 1 doing something for a while at least. I also really look forward to thralls doing some of the tedious gathering.

I am excited about the lotus incense burner golem part. there is a nice variety in the effects. from increased damage, to cleaning bleed and poison effects to a slight increase in stamina regen.

im saddened to hear that there isnt more spells being added, but the golems seem nice....hopefully in the future you can just attach them to a specific box and just have them auto gather within a radius of said box ...

Oh you are still alive. Nice. I used to play this game on ps4 and had all the DLC:s I never finished the game because it acted like Fallout new vegas on ps3. But atleast one could complete the story of Fallout new Vegas before the memory related crashes started. Now I thought about buying it on PC because I have friends who might be interested and I must say I am very disappointed what I've heard. They have still not fixed the game and added a micro transaction store that operates illegally due to having false discount prices. Wtf.

The first journey step for survival.. finding the smoke.. has anyone actually found this!? I can't seem to find any billowing smoke on the south side of the desert to be able to complete the step. Unless it's talking about the starting beach riiiight at the beginning?!

There are new caravans right at the broken highway where you first start.

Near the begining you need to find broken caravans in the desert if it doesn't trigger change your active journey and activate it again. Also turn of creative mode. The triggers to some steps sometimes doesn't work properly and you need to try several times.

As for new journey steps, I have mixed feelings about that. On one hand, I like it turning into something more than just an exp boost with actual rewards for completion, but I'm not sure about the forcefull completion in implemented order. I'd prefer much more if the list would be open and player could determine order in which the steps are completed.

After completing Survivor, you can do the rest of the Journey steps in whatever order you please, there are just some multi-layered "paths" that have sequenced Journey steps.

I don't like this feature, what was great about Conan Exile was the fact that you didn't have a sarge shouting at you, telling you to do this do that. Are new player supposed to be children that you need to take by the hand to do everything. I know that sometime it was quite difficult to learn how to do things but it's a SURVIVAL game, you are supposed to get your thumbs out of your ass and work it out not just follow a guide for idiots!

@Kukipett Kelbozob the new Journey steps are a godsend for new and old players alike. New players who want to compete on PVP servers can't be messing around with every miniscule mechanic trying to figure the basics out. Right now, they have to search through hundreds of KZbin vids to find relevant information every step of the way. With this, they get relevant information precisely when they wish to. For old players, Journey steps regain relevance because of the added rewards, which can boost early game progress or increase endgame power.

How do you do the encounter challenge on exiled lands. I looked it up and all it said was to pretty much do a boss or witch fight,I did both and it didn't clear the challenge. The one u made a video of was on isle of siptah. Is that the only map u can do that challenge on?

Right now events aren't spawning. But for the surge boss challenge I think the sorcerers you kill in the new dungeon count for the challenge.

Number 5 you keep saying it's "brighter at night" but doesn't the solar eclipse happen during the day? Not only that, but when and how often will an eclipse take place? It sounds like when chapter 3 drops a solar eclipse will happen and ?stay? For an extended time as if the Sun and Moon stop moving? The solar eclipse confuses me, how does it take place in a game where a day is only like 40ish min long.

From my understanding the eclipse replaces the night cycle. So instead of it going from day to night it goes day to eclipse

I have to use 2 profiles. One to build other to fight/explore. At least should be some kind of building tree slot. Like Warcraft. So you can change before leaving your base.

I'm excited for the nightly eclipse. Absolutely hate not being able to see how far down it is from a cliff when hopping off, grabbing onto the side, and the whole world going pitch black because my torch got put away. =)

Pull out your torch before you jump. Then each time you let go you get a tiny window when it lights up... O just run around with a glimmermoon\etc as it'll light up when when on your back.

from the short time I spent on the test live it doesn't appear that either of the golem benches has space for a thrall. it would be nice if we could put a sorcerer there to reduce to cost of creating golem parts and perhaps the named ones could unlock a recipe to turn like corrupted stone, crystal and sacrificial blood into bloodstone. I also want to see the sorcery pouches moved to the thaumaturgy bench, there is enough on the alchemy bench as it is.

I'm more concerned about cosmetics, emotes, skins, etc. Characteristics that changes you and your followers. New designs for buildings. I'm tired of sandstone, stonebrick, wood. Should be more thematic construction without buying DLCs. Skins for pets, like spotted, stripped, rough fur, soft fur, scales, armors, horns, etc. I know I'm just dreaming, but...

Re the beams of light from the shrines most probably a PVP related thing you could not craft one without announcing to the world hay here's my base location.

It's an icon on the map. PVP players notice a new icon immediately and if the location is not know to be that of a friendly base oob mucking around then it's battlestations and multiple clans will arrive at the location within minutes. A t3 later that just pops up unexpected nearly 100% of the time indicates an intention to use it. Any bubbles that were not up will come up 30 mins later as chances are the alter still need 1 hour for true name crafting Organised clans will bring the t3 online around 5pm for deployment right after 6pm by farming up the 575 zeal while it's still a t2 alter, The light beam doesn't really do anything except look pretty and doesn't even render in to around the point at which the base does anyway.

@@nathanielacton3768 Light beams are critical in PVP to locate a t3 alter inside a base, so that you can blow in directly towards it instead of messing around trying to find where it's hidden in the layers of defences.

the Golems tend to spawn at the Volcano, and the Bloodstone Rocknoses can spawn in most places that a Rocknose normally spawns

Chapter 2 was suppose to introduce new encounter type. This was advertised by FUNCOM as one of new features of Chapter 2 (kzbin.info/www/bejne/in-7n3mhgLJggKc). Not only this new encounter isn't spawning, but previous ones, from Chapter 1, have also stopped spawning (although they kinda worked OK in Chapter 1) - because FUNCOM just turned off events completely (yes, all of them, not just the bugged one, even in single player games). Yep, you heard it right - something that was advertised as a feature is in fact not available in-game under laughable pretense "it was bugged". Well, it wasn't "bugged" when they promised it in their Chapter 2 promos, but guess what - one week into the Chapter - and it declared "bugged" and taken out. And it hasn't been fixed in all 3 months long chapter time span. You better be prepared there is a real possibility Golems will also be taken out few weeks into Chapter 3 🤣

I am very disappointed that players will lose their Shrine beams. It is a status symbol to some and decorative to others. SAVE THE SHRINE BEAMS. The special events can use other sky effects like the mini-portals Siptah had at launch. Something/anything...but let the players keep their shrine beams.
