You're not cutting them down, you're just harvesting. Surely those peasants should not mind that?

Damn you're right. Just harvesting wheat for my army. They should appreciate me doing their job, I think so.

I tried downloading captivity events (and the secondary file) but it doesnt show in my mod menu at all where it says play, continue, etc. I extracted to the module, unblocked dll, and tried again a few times. It just doesnt show for some reason. Any ideas why?

It's really hard to say with modding. You could run through my old tutorial video to check if there's anything I'd know to do kzbin.info/www/bejne/ioOxqYeYmbp6iKc. Hope it helps!

How did you get your Kaoses Tweaks mod to work?? For some reason mine crashes my game on launch. I thought it's because it's outdated or something. Anyway, love the vids.

I'm not using the most recent patch of Bannerlord, that's how many of my mods work. Could be that. And thank you :)

@@FloatingMammal that makes sense. What patch are you using and is there a big difference in gameplay?? I don't really keep up with what updates change.

@@_H-man It's patch 1.1.5 and honestly it's mostly the same. Newer patches add new things but, it's never really on par with mods if you ask me

Hey i have the mod captivitys evets but I never get any events at all but everything thing esle the mods brings works could you give me some advice plz!!!!

It's tough to say why, could be many things. Do you have all the requirements? Have you been captured?

@@FloatingMammal I found out!! I had the mod instilled but there is a sub mod called "default events" that actually triggers the events! thank you for your response your awesome!

this mod is, just awful, but its also.. just completely unalanced..its just misery porn, as youve said, you have high mercy and generous but theres only prompts to be evil.. and the sequence in the castle feels just, UTTERLY.. unimmersive... , specially the starvation thing.. captives could and would be fed.. at least a bit.. also youre a mercenary and a noble.. you should have the option to parley for better reatment, (could be a place to leverage your charm skill)

It's just.. absolutely everything you said, yup. Sometimes I wish I had the time and energy to make my own events but then I realize half the -sometimes fun- is just experiencing the wild stuff it makes happen. Really it would be nice to be treated with respect but from past experiences you can at least treat your own noble prisoners decently.

@@FloatingMammalim someone who does reenactint of both early and high/late medieval, and looked at justice from a 1500s german executioners diary... the diary notes that you should have to behead someone with one swing... those who took 3 swings or more could risk having the crowd would see it as cruel to the point they had been known to jump on the stage and kick the executioner to death.. the church would regularly intervene on behalf of prisoners.. and ccaptives.. it is very clear that they had a very ... reributive sense of justice at times.. they still had the functional empathy to not be just.. OK with unneeded cruelty.. also you sould be able to use your charm and sexiness to get the guards to help you if the guards being awful to you applies.. that said, the rat eating should maybe happen if, say.. theres a seige, or famine and the food stocks are low.. so yes youre starving... but.. so is everyone else.. maybe you can exploit that..
