With all these mods Bannerlord actually feels like a full game and not early beta. My personal favorite is MyLittleWarband - it allows you to create your own troop trees. It's a lot of fun and should work with most mods here.

The thing with RBM is you need the posture system in many cases to be able to land hits on Elite units with high combat skills, otherwise their blocks are perfect. Those few free shots after a stumble to the ground are your only chance to make progress.

Love the video. Already had most of the mods but added Party AI (mostly to stop them from donating troops to garisons) and Character Reload. Some other mods I use and like: Detailed Character Creation - > I use this especially to edit any companions\wives\family members so that they don't look as ugly as they look by default. vbody and FaceTextureOverhaul -> for same reason, so that female character look at least decent. Horses - > I love to bond a horse and get its stats a little higher. It's also nice that you can whistle for it to come back to you if it ran away in battle and you can refill your ranged ammo once per battle from his saddle. BetterCore and Better Attributes -> So it fills more like an RPG and attributes give more than just learning cap and rate Basters & Concubines -> When I want to have a companion army, it's nice to make a concubine army of the best stats ladies in Calradia.

My Little Warband does work, but the copy template button instantly crashes the game with Realm of Thrones. Some reddit users and I have shared this problem. I also couldn't get it to have my troops spawn only at my settlements, but that was probably just a me issue.

God bless the formation mod. Not only did it fix the party formations, it also reintroduced the ability of the player to redeploy in sieges. It was so frustrating not being able to reposition my troops or my character. I get that im not in control of the castle, but can i not even choose where my character start? This mod is a god sent and im probably not going to ever update my game unless the Japan mod releases

Nice list, I was personally using a couple others that weren't on this list that I'm hoping don't cause problems such as "kill bandits raise relation" "more bandits" "immersive battlefields" and "DynaCulture" no problems so far to report, I'll edit this comment if I do come across any, my new save is gonna be companions only, so I can more properly control my troops and by extension the overall battlefield oh and I didn't add realm of thrones stuff, not for me as of right now, since I want to get a bit more of a feel for the base game before I add mods that change everything I turned down the multiplier for companion xp to just 4, having it so high was a tad much tbh

I would add Cut Through Everyone (Xorberax Legacy) and Dismemberment Plus as must have. Once you play with those 2 and cut off 10 heads in one swing there's no going back to 'vanilla' version

I'm surprised that more people aren't recommending the Novus Launcher. Way easier to manage mods, you can have presets, change ingame settings and it even has a button to unblock dll files for you

I recently spent a lot of time in the Old Realms total conversion mod. Although I know almost no Warhammer 40k lore, I enjoyed it a lot. Additional abilities allow you to solo large armies with ease, you get magic, gunpowder weapons,elves, vampires, minotaurs.... I recommend you try it out.

the dll file unblocker is not working for me. idk what to do. it says Files Unblocked. but then when i try to run the game an error message says cannot load: somehting something 0Harmony.dll Edit: i had to individually unblock each dll for all of the mods but, even after that the game still crashes. But, this time there is no error message. Edit: the mod that was giving me issues was the better time mod and the mod configuration menu v5 supporting mod. I don’t know what the issue is but I can play fine if those mods are unchecked.

Just downloaded everything and booted up. I did end up downloading some "newer" versions since the video release, guess we shall see if it works haha. Messing with in-settings now. I appreciate how simple but thorough your guide is. Was able to follow it super easily. EDIT: So far so good. The economy seems mega busted, defeated a couple bandit groups and have enough gold to fund me for a long long time. Cleaned out Winterfells gold after selling loot. Been nice getting back into the game.

My first time trying RBM and I'm glad it isn't fully optimised for RoT, still able to slash knights in full plate armour with a sword because RoT original armour and sword stats aren't altered. Encouraged by this, I tried RBM with vanilla and man, it's painful.

Hey man, I did everything you said and it still crashes on launch. All the mods are the same version and the game version is also right. I tried deactivating all mods besides butterlib,harmony ect. and only use the GOT mod but it still failes to run. Just stuck at the loading screen, any tips? After trying to use everything besides the conversion mod ( the 4 ROT files, it launched but using them crashes the game)

Alright boys I'm a retard. But I'll let you know that my personal fix was to fucking wait in the loading screen for a little longer. I thought that it crashed every time but if you load up the game with all the mods for the first time it takes a while. Everything was frozen and my CPU usage went over the roof so I thought the game died every time but nope - wait for 5-20 min, make a coffe or sum shit like that and you're good to go. The next boot up of the game went fast btw.

Yeah diplomacy would be a good one! Only reason it's not on here now is because in my campaign, I went to war with everyone from day 1 and I wasn't allowed to peace out with anyone. If I recall, diplomacy adds a ticking war-score that will end wars automatically after a certain time? But otherwise, for a normal campaign it's a great mod

@@Strat-Guides so the game keeps crashing after a seige victory? Crash report says its the ROT core module thats involved, any idea how to fix?

@@shariqnadeem3795 I haven't ran into that issue before so I'm not sure what's going on. Here are a couple things you can try - disable RTS camera and try it again to see if it helps? (RTS used to give me problems in sieges before, so just a guess). Try to autoresolve the siege and see if it still crashes - if it does, then it's likely the changing of ownership of the fief that's causing it. If not, then it's possible that RBM is causing the issue because it's supposed to go to a keep battle, but if I recall RBM removes keep battles. One thing you can do is attack until they have only a handful of troops left, retreat and then autoresolve from there so you don't take huge losses. Hopefully one of these suggestions helps!

It would make a stronger army weaker because higher tier units should be able to break through enemy posture faster. With it off, the enemy tier 1 can block 100 attacks in a row without issue - with it on maybe only 2 - 3 attacks and then their posture breaks, short stun and then finally a killing blow

Hey butters! Yeah it's on 1.2.10. The DLL unblocked is only needed for certain mods, but if you don't run it you'll crash 100% of the time. I've got no clue what a DLL is lol but i know it's a problem for mods

I have a small issue. Loot I recieve after battle is worth a LOT of money. Ten looters give about 10,000 gold worth of loot. I have only downloaded the mods in your showcase, do you have any idea what could possibly be the issue? Otherwise everything works great, but this issue kinda ruins any sort of struggle in the game, I can buy max tier loot after killing 6 groups of looters, etc. I have no clue what the issue could be, I know it is ROT as the same issue was occuring in Eagle Rising. Any feedback would be very appreciated! Thanks for the modlist, definitely what I was looking for to get back into the game.

As it relates to Party AI controls, I was under the impression that making companions into (vanilla) group leaders means they gain Leadership XP, which is about the only advantage I can think of to the new way of grouping troops the way TW does it. Do you know if that's the case, and if that IS the case does the old way/Party AI controls effect that?

This is all tested for 1.2.10. Some mods might work on older versions, but it's hard to say which ones without testing them all.

How noticeable is the balance without an RBM patch for the RoT mod, is it worth looking for a patch even if it's for older versions of the mod in your opinion ?

I was told the RBM patch wasn't updated and I don't think it the old one works (but not positive). Some things were definitely not balanced - like White Walkers were almost impossible to kill unless you surround them on all sides and stunlock them. Dragons would die with a single arrow or spear thrust. Cavalry are really OP, but that's the same in RBM without RoT as well. The giants didn't know how to aim their arrows, so many turn the ranged stuff in RBM off so they can actually hit something lol. Aside from these issues, it seemed fine to me.

Will tham modlist work on the latest version of bannerlord or is there specific version I should use?

Use 1.2.10. 1.2.11 is supposed to be a Multiplayer patch so I'm not sure if it will mess these mods up, but I would just stick with 1.2.10 for now. I don't think .11 adds anything for Singleplayer??

Dudeeee just as I’m getting back into bannerlord! Js, also what if you added bg3 to your game list? Could do soooooo much content with min maxing so many classes and combos, would be cool changeup. I make some cool mods for it too 😅😅
