i definitely see what you mean. it's even built on the same engine which i think goes a long way towards that feeling. Wrought Flesh is built on the same engine too and carries that same feeling in my opinion. if you're looking for something heavily inspired by cruelty squad you should check this game out superhans433.itch.io/uas its only one level but i think the dev plans on updating it further
