To make a good melody: 1. Limit yourself. I stick to just 5 notes - D, F, G, A and C. (Pentatonic scale) 2. Make your limit go up, then down. Repeat it until your neighbours complain. 3. Use cheap sounding synths or exotic instruments like shamisens. People remember then. 4. Make it super memorable by speeding it up to 174bm (or faster) 5. Congratulations.
