Batters don’t have time to think of the pitch, it’s all subconscious at that point. Just allow your brain to go into “sleep” mode and autopilot the rest.

@@jeverly I just watched an interview with Bregman and when asked if taking fastballs and swinging at breaking balls was the strategy he kinda laughed and said it was more like not being able to see the fastballs. Which might explain things a bit. Sonny thew a lot of breaking balls and Javier is mainly a fastball pitcher.
