I got lunch detention once, which meant that I ate lunch in a quiet classroom. As a super introverted person, it was the best lunch I’ve ever had to this date 😂

i had detention before class for chewing gum once, and the literal only word that was spoken the entire time from me walking in to sitting down alone in the room with my teacher was when i pulled out a book to read and he just said "no." and then i memorized the digits of pi bc they were on a poster in the room lol

My only lunch detention was in my freshman year of high school, during home ec class....after cooking, every group was supposed to clean the workspace really well & my group left something in the sink (I don't even know what it was because I wasn't in charge of washing the dishes that day) and because I was the "lead" cook for that day...I got the detention for it. Fun fact "Easy A" was mainly shot in Ojai, California, USA. Filming also took place at EUE/Screen Gems. Filming locations included Nordhoff High School, Libbey Park, Ojai Coffee Roasting Co, Ojai Playhouse, and Bart's Books. Ojai, CA. The film was shot in June 2009, much of it at Nordhoff High School (the name is changed to Ojai North High School in the movie). Many Nordhoff students were extras in the film. “Easy A” director Will Gluck, who lives in Ojai, said in the film’s production notes that the small-town setting was key.

Come on Dylan I'm so disappointed that you didn't get that the ending is a nod to other teen dramas, like the song he is playing is from the Breakfast Club, standing with the speakers outside her window is from Say Anything (except its a boombox) and riding on the lawn mower is the ending of Can't Buy Me Love.

@MissCaraMint4 жыл бұрын
It even ends with his fist in the air just like the Breakfast Club. It's one of the legitimate sweetest things in any romantic comedy as this isn't some dumb impulsive thing that's supposed to be romantic for a girl because the main character crewed over in some way. It's a reaction to her saying publicly that she likes him, and then him going and recreating a mishmash of her favorite romantic movie moments for her.
