Fun fact "Easy A" was mainly shot in Ojai, California, USA. Filming also took place at EUE/Screen Gems. Filming locations included Nordhoff High School, Libbey Park, Ojai Coffee Roasting Co, Ojai Playhouse, and Bart's Books. Ojai, CA. The film was shot in June 2009, much of it at Nordhoff High School (the name is changed to Ojai North High School in the movie). It even ends with his fist in the air just like the Breakfast Club. It's one of the legitimate sweetest things in any romantic comedy as this isn't some dumb impulsive thing that's supposed to be romantic for a girl because the main character crewed over in some way. It's a reaction to her saying publicly that she likes him, and then him going and recreating a mishmash of her favorite romantic movie moments for her.
