I'm honestly baffled by how C!Sam still thinks all that bad shit he's done is justified Despite it all though, he's still a character I still symphatize with, I feel like ever since he's been the prison keeper, he was probably so determined to keep Dream inside that I think he's forgotten the reason why they kept him there in the first place... Just like Ranboo said that there is stuff that people went through things that make them like that and he's had to deal with almost being infected by the egg, Tommy's death(he still blames himself for that), people depending on him too much for being the Warden I know why Ponk is still angry, Sam haven't really changed alot but I don't see why we'd blame Sam for the escape, he knew how seriously he took it and probably knew he tried his best to keep Dream inside but kind of just ignored that (HHHHHHHHH, brain is dead but I'm still taking the time to write all this shit I'm not even sure is even right)

I believe it's a coping mechanism I'm pretty sure. He's told himself so much that he's doing this for the right reason, that it's for the greater good and all, that 100%, genuinely admitting that he's done actual bad would break him more than he already is. I mean, he was literally hanging on to the idea he wasn't a bad guy the whole time he was trapped in the prison, and barely even really 'admitted' it at the very end. He genuinely thinks he's doing things for the greater good, but goes about it the wrong way (like with Michael for example, he should've talked to Eret and Tubbo about it before just taking him). Man needs a break and life just isn't giving him that.

Omg, I forgot Ponk’s chat was lemons- they are so cute! And Ponk just carefully placing one of them in the basket even while he’s angry is so sweet! They looked so cute even though they were angry XD The flashbacks got me, it was so sad. T-T Ponk saying he won’t be there to help Sam, Ponk seeing the old Sam when he said he would kill him, and when they were both just sitting there together with Fran. CHAT INTERACTING WITH EACHOTHER! I was really upset at sam for Ranboo's death. Still am, but I think everyone's blaming Sam for Dreams escape. When it was Techno, and the rest of the Syndicate. Not Sams fault. Sam is at fault for Ranboo's death. Because he wanted Dream back in the prison. The Man Spent everyday trying to make sure he didn't escape. Then Getting the blame when Dream did Escape, That would be Pressure and Guilt all up in its own. Not forgetting That everyone(a lot of people) was being Toxic in Sams chat when he did the stream in the prison when Dream came in. It was split up into so many sections it was either "YOU DESERVE IT" or "wether or not, I still like his character." and other things. That hurt.

There's so much emotion oh my god- The flashbacks, the expressions, the body language, the dialogue choice, so damn good I think my favourite scene is actually the final frame, interestingly enough; here's why: c!Sam is a tall character, and yet the slow panning high-angle shot makes him seem so much smaller in comparison to the prison around him; he's vulnerable, less significant, and feels weak On top of that, the scene being void of sound (save for the booming wind) adds to the idea that there's nothing/no one there, that he's lost to the point where it's (almost) irredeemable You're so good at these, this is why you're one of my favs ✨💖
