Add cheese once the bread is almost done cooking within a 30 minutes then add the cheese the last 10 minutes of it, the bread cooking and then it’ll look pretty fresh and then once done you had your pico on your cilantro

Those look fabulous! You’re not a lazy cook or you wouldn’t do anything! People want short cuts and ideas and that’s fine. I never knew El Paso had a cornbread mixture already to mix up. I’ve always just used my spices. I love this recipe! I am all for individual portions and that’s one thing I really appreciate about you, you do portions a lot. I would cut them in half at the end and slip a little dollop of sour cream on them. Pico de gallo is so good! I would think these could also be frozen before topping and reheated as needed. ​. Slow cooking is a good on saving on electric or gas bill. I have electric and my bill went down. Although I make lots of casseroles in the oven. Not quickie recipes. Old fashioned ones are best.
