Cape Town is so beautiful i was there for 3 weeks for business and flew directly from Atlanta with Delta and flew back with United, so if you are American, there are 3 flights weekly back and fourth from Cape Town And America! Cape Town so beautiful, planning on a trip for December to bring the family as its summer in South Africa during this time!

I like your videos. I think they are too short. When you travel that far please do a more in dept assessment of the areas you visit. You could have done this video alone on the restaurants. Then do another video on night life, mountain climb or the mom and pop restaurant. Provide links or contact information you mentioned of the program to help.Thanks safe travels.

Let me to reiterate that Lions Head was SCARY to climb. I read about it before going and I was under the impression that it was simple. It is not, and if you're scared of heights, it will be a challenge. However, the views are worth it, so I'm glad I completed it.

@Travel Connect The people living in informal settlements moved from Eastern Cape to western cape, and that why Cape town is filled with informal settlements from the bantu community. It was never like that. Most times they have houses in Eastern Cape, but they still build informal settlements in Capetown for their own purposes.

This was not the case for any of the people I visited and interviewed from this particular settlement.

Can anyone tell me if Cape Town is safe for women solo travelers?
@travelconnect1 Жыл бұрын
I know women who have traveled to Cape Town alone. Just be wise and responsible. I would not advise a female solo traveler hanging out in Cape Town at night though.

Yes it is. It's just like in New York or London, they have crime too.
@tyali8411 ай бұрын
Yes it is. Same as traveling to any other country in the world. You would go to New York but still know better not to go to the neighbourhoods of East Harlem or Bronx , it is just common travel sense.

The African Union needs to start combatting the VISA lenience on tourists from abroad.
@travelconnect15 ай бұрын
Why?
@onealinho5 ай бұрын
@@travelconnect1 , the same way I would be required to pay my VISA requirements to travel to the US as a South African national. So yes, African nations should have the same control over their nations just as much as Asia, the Americas and Europe have over their own regarding international tourists. Let me know what you think.
@travelconnect15 ай бұрын
African nations do have control over their VISA processes. You must think about the reasons some countries are VISA free.

@@travelconnect1 , are you subject to VISA requirements on your several excursions to the African continent as a US national?
