Way too soft. Basically, summed up, there were three articles: The first article stated that Māori ceded sovereignty to the Queen. The following two articles ensured that, in return for this, Māori would keep their land and possessions. Article three guaranteed that Māori would be treated equally under the law. Done-nothing more, nothing less. By 1853, democracy had superseded the Treaty, and in 1865, at Kohimarama, over 120 Māori chiefs made it clear they were happy to cede sovereignty for the Crown’s protection. They even revolted against those who hadn’t signed-mainly the Waikato chiefs. A war was fought, and while the majority favored ceding sovereignty, a few chiefs resisted. They lost, and everything eventually came under democratic processes, prioritizing individual rights over tribal rights. In the 1970s, negotiations regarding Treaty settlements began, including the establishment of the Waitangi Tribunal to address historical injustices. However, in the 1980s, the “principles” of the Treaty were reinterpreted and reworked to suit modern-day Māori. This should never have happened. This reworking introduced much of the division we see today, including claims of equal partnership. Over the last 10 years, we have witnessed an indoctrination of Te Reo Māori in schools and throughout the education system. This was further influenced by John Key’s signing of the Indigenous Rights Act, aligning with WEF/UN agendas. These organizations have encouraged Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives, which have led to societal fractures worldwide. The goal appears to be introducing elite communism by 2030. Jacinda Ardern signed New Zealand onto the UN Agenda 2030, the date by which the WEF/UN aims to implement Stakeholder Capitalism-essentially, elite communism. Alongside this are nonsensical carbon-zero policies designed to weaken countries. This should give smaller countries a clearer understanding of the bigger goals of these organizations and how they manipulate societies to create division and fear, all for their ultimate goal: global control.

Anyone who has done an ounce of THOROUGH RESEARCH...(ten years prior to the Treaty signing to be exact) will know that Māori and their intentions to self-govern were ALWAYS on the cards...right up until 1840! Busby himself was partial to Chief sovereignty but only for certain tribes. What does that tell you? Māori already had a multi-chieftan system in place. Tribal chiefs were already accustomed to taking care of their own boundaries. Māori will look after Māori while pakeha look after their own. That was the original deal! History shows us brits always vowed for full control...regardless of which country they were invading. Sharing was NEVER their thing and with all this land and natural resources up for grabs, it's no surprises they wanted full control. The only way they could obtain that was through deceptive means as they couldn't defeat Māori, otherwise. No other nation dared to come to these lands immediately or even years after the dutch. Not until 127years later. Word got around that Māori were a force to be reckoned with. The isolation of lands deterred many.
