I do cutting powder every scope out. Less damage is less money lost and cutting powder makes the guards terrible shots. That and the Disruption preps. If my heist plan is sketchy I'll do a full scope out. Try and find everything. I even swap longfin, Sub, Velum, depending on how hard I foresee it being or if I plan on taking friends.

I choose night b/c my 1st 3 heists on Cayo I did velum and took out the power station, did all Disruption preps, I lucked out too with the disguise and guard truck. Small warning the closer the guard truck is to the compound the faster you have to get to it before some guard takes it for a joyride! If it's moving already on your map get the grappling hook or get the gate codes. I have never been able to regain the moving supply truck without triggering the alarms. So don't always rely on the supply truck entrance exclusively. Pick up extra tools every heist. Bolt cutters(quieter than the torch) and the grappling hook or gate codes are good entry options. Nice to walk up to the compound and have options.

It gets harder each time you do it, in the same day. We all know hard mode, but it get's crazy when you do it back to back in the same day, trust me. The guards will spawn and walk where they normally don't, and their eye cones seem to get bigger at times. Great video

It would be great to see a video of you taking out air defence and flying from the airstrip to mid map or something to get secondary loot.

So entertaining. Thanks for doing this. Two quick observations: 1) if you see a painting, grab it. No one said you can’t. If you get BOTH paintings, you should move to Vegas but also can skip the secondary loot for this run 2) how about a community vote to have you turn off your mini-map… I DARE YOU to try!!! And a question: how do you change the outfit you do the Cayo run in? Didn’t know you can do that. What happens if you dress up looking like that guard disguise uniform to start with?

I've done a no minimap, hard mode, no weapons run before and it was interesting lol The outfit always depends on what entry vehicle you choose. Some are more casual, some more dressy, etc.

When doing the math hack if you guess wrong, don't finish it. You can cancel your lines and try again. On PlayStation it's O, no idea what the back button would be on PC. Just don't go back too far or you'll exit the game. It's better to cancel your lines because there are only so many combinations in the game. So by cancelling your lines and trying a new combination, you'll stumble upon the correct combination eventually.

I write this comment before I watch the video I want to thank you Taco for these videos, thanks to them today was the day for me to do Cayo for the first time! :D Sure I did not get the elite challenge as I've triggered the alarm and died too many times (did a quick restart to not deal with it over and over again xD), but I've finished that run with almost $1,500,000. So again, thank you for the videos! Much appreciated :D Now off to watch the video itself ^^ Edit: So after watching the video, ~20 minutes isn't bad! Sure no elite challenge, but hey, look at the bright side.. my first Cayo took about 30 minutes xD

I take the Longfin up to the hanger to get the secondary loot, and the patrol boats seem to ignore you if you don't have a weapon in your hand. It's probably best to not go too close though.

When the baddies are armored, headshots only. Think of it as good practice. The airport hack is really easy if you can do basic math. There are numbers and multipliers, there are 3 multipliers, 1 times, 2 tmes and 10 times. Pick your 10 times number first, its the one thats less than 10x the total number.

Hey @SubscribeForTacos, you may not care what i have to say, but was gonna offer a pro tip. if you run up to 2 enemies facing each other, you can successively melee the both of them, one right after the other. its a fast rapid way to do so in case you don't want to shoot them.

How hard is the setup for the plane your using for this one haven't done that way have only done the long fin and the sub

It definitly one of the harder setup missions. You have to go to a hanger in the airbase airport and take out a few people then fly to the main airport. Then you also have a second mission to get the pilot. Still not super difficult but more so than the other options.
