You could say a police officer is effectively a guard thought with more hp or something, and a soldier wouldn't be of the commoner type either. And if you end up as a spellcaster backed by religion warlock contract or otherwise you're magic might not work in our world. And some of the responses like the one about maru the artificer aren't correct, you awaken with the abilities, not the personality and backstory.

Oh good god... My last character I played was my Level 20 Gunslinger fighter. The DM and I homebrewed a subclass that basically let me bypass immunity and resistance to certain elements which I could infuse into my bullets. I could also make small teleport jumps every time I attacked while being able to call my chosen weapon from anywhere across the world. Suffice to say... I'd be a pretty badass vigilante.

It's been a while since I've been able to play, but if I remember correctly, I would be a lvl 10 dwarf fighter with 4 levels as an barbarian berserker, and with a mastery of blacksmithing that allowed me to craft weapons that does extra damage to demons. Due to the luck of the dice, when I rolled the character, I ended up with 18 in charisma, so I'm extremely persuasive.

I only got play as him once or twice, but Shane Okiyamu (can't quite remember his last name, he was made to be a parody of Shun Akiyama from yakuza 4/5) was a badass. I forget what his sheet was since it's been over a year, but I believe he was a level 3 bard/monk (high wisdom and dex) hybrid Variant human. His two achievements were aiding in the settlement of a property dispute, and bullying a lovecraftian horror in the form of a small child into submission with V.mockery and S.barbs. I told the punk his mother wishes she had a medical plan that included abortion. Then he cried about not having a mother so I rubbed it in some more. The DM and party were shocked at the insults I hurled so I think he just gave that to me since he said the horror was immune to damage and unfightable, but he gave it the mental fortitude of an actual toddler.

This is kind of ironic for me because my last D&D game I literally made myself as a D&D character. I was a circle of the Moon druid who had the scholar background. AKA he's a college student, and he took up a venturing to try and pay off his student debts. I also gave him the magic initiate feet wizard so he can have a spell to clean himself off at any time have an extra hand and have a summonable pet. I also like the idea of being able to turn into cute animals and to try and fish pets from people. And that's something he's kind of done. When he got nervous in a church and turned into a cat and tried to hide behind his bigger stronger friends.

If we're counting racial abilities included with class and subclass, I'd wake up as Aeon Pierson, a Wood Elf Gloom Stalker Ranger who's currently level 8, but i will soon be multiclassing into Monk. Meaning, I can turn invisible when it's night time, I can see in the dark, attack supernaturally quick, I got spells, and if my Monk abilities come over then I guess I just get the cool punchy boi abilities that come with Monk. Standard invisibility is one thing, it's another when I'm just permanently invisible when in a dark area, making me invisible to even creatures with Darkvision, so no more worrying about pesky night vision goggles.

As the forever DM I have the whole world to choose from. But to be fair, lets keep it confined to the current group. I'm currently running a DMPC Shadow Thief, homebrewed from 3E to fit our current campaign setting. Essentially, it's some fairly awesome stealth powers and augmented Backstab abilities. Its a fairly simple build meant to fill a role the party needs. So I'd really just wake up as a female Hawkeye with amazing stealth abilities. Not much chaos or madness there. Of course if we include the rest of the group... well, we inadvertently built a fantasy version of the Avengers (all characters were built separately and only 2 players had met previous to session 1, there was zero intent here). Our barbarian, who physically transforms when he rages becomes the Hulk. The cat familiar wizard becomes Ironman as he pilots something akin to an iron golem. Our sword and shield fighter tanks out well as Captain America, hes got the vibe. Also we have a small arms expert that would be a good analog for Black Widow, her brother, a homebrew mod for Tempest Domain Cleric becomes Thor (we aren't playing DnD 5e for the record). So if we all woke up with our character's powers, well, Avengers, I mean, Arson Hobo's Assemble! Absolute chaos...

Dual wields shortswords with a bandolier full of daggers. Loves to throw flash grenades (the light spell): and is currently battling his lycanthropy (werebat) and a soul sucking possession spirit that feeds off of any evil deeds he commits.

If we’re counting Pathfinder 2e, I’d wake up as Jenta Tyvrane, my Thief Rogue. She can handle falls as if they were 10 feet shorter (amazing since I’m afraid of heights), run faster than most at a 40 foot move speed, and has limited access to healing magic (very clutch given my immune system). She’s a Drow but in Pathfinder they don’t have to deal with sunlight sensitivity so even that isn’t a big deal. She also has the martial artist archetype, so I could easily kill a commoner with a single hit and even tougher opponents with my bare fists (she doesn’t get a penalty for dealing lethal damage with her fists cause of her archetype). But the most important things in modern society are her mass bonuses to stealth & sleight of hand plus her general competence (proficient in almost every skill).

If we're talking any tabletop RPG, suddenly having knowledge of how gravitic technology and Jump Drives work would be an immediate jumpstart to space exploration. Reise Trudler is the Vargr engineer for his ship in a game of Traveller that I'm in. Pathfinder 2e: Half orc tiefling champion of redemption. For those who play dnd, the champion is PF2e version of paladin. I specked out my champion to be a str build tower shield marshal dedication. For starters I’ve got 18 strength and are 8ft tall. Now I am a mixture of orc and tiefling so his looks won’t do him any favours. Made worse by the fact he has 16 charisma, who is a master of intimidation and had the intimidating glare feat, the intimidating prowess feat, as well as battle cry. So I can scare people shitless by glaring at them. He is a expert at diplomacy tho so if I can get into a conversation I should be able to handle it pretty well. With both those charisma skills taking my way out of situations should be fairly easy so I could be a decent diplomat. As for my class, well I build the character to be a shield master, with an extra reaction to shield block, with the ability to shield allies instead of just me. Combined with my champion reaction to show people the literal power of god and a different timeline where they didn’t fight me, well that could definitely get me working as a body guard. Like picture this, a person draws a gun on a world leader only for there to a a flash of light as the would be assassin sees a different life. Plus if they still decide to attack, any damage they deal is heavily reduced and the attacker becomes enfeebled 2 (physically weakened). Combined with the fact he is an expert in athletics with the titan wrestler feat, which lets me grapple, prone huge creatures, yeah he’s strong. Lastly: I have the focus spell lay on hands so once every 10 minutes I can heal 20 hit points, more than enough to fully heal a commoner who should have something like 10 ish hit points. Now I’m a little sad since last session were mid way through a boss fight which the Game Master said we would level up if we defeat it. It’s sad because next level I get the ability to 1/day summon wings to fly for 10 minutes and I become a master in diplomacy. As well as better saving throws, lightning reflexes (better dexterity) and juggernaut, higher fortitude mod and successful fortitude saves become critical success (fortitude is dnd’s constitution).

I'm in the same boat as the last entry in the vid, but with a couple tweaks. I'd be a 15th level Aberrant Mind Sorcerer, but due to in-campaign events, I'd have a couple extra perks and some different spell choices. On top of all the insane psychic shenanigans - which would be INVALUABLE in day to day life - I'd also have the Gift of the Metallic Dragon feat, letting me heal injuries and manifest sick dragon wings to block attacks on me or those near me. I'd also have Demiplane, meaning that once a day I can decide go just nope out to a pocket dimension of my own making, even camping out there if I've prepped enough in there beforehand, as the plane persists even after the door to it created by the spell vanishes. This, along with invisibility, the ability to read thoughts, and speak telepathically, could make me an infiltration/information-gathering powerhouse. And at that level, with psionic spellcasting coupled with the Sending spell, I could effectively become the ultimate, untraceable communications hub for operations in real time for a good while if I funnel all my spell slots into just making more sorcery points to psionically cast Sending. And because it's all relayed in thought, it literally could not be intercepted or overheard/intercepted they way other messages could.

So basicially I would be a professional assassin and spy who puts the ESP in espianage. Assassination with a sniper? Wake up the day of proficient in the weapon, and proficient in any 1 skill I need that day. Moving target? Something in the way? Use expertise in perception to spot my opening, line up the shot, fire, if I am off I can use Psionics to bend the bullet to correct it's course. I would specialize in toppling dictators, extracting information telepathicly or persuading others to help me. I can kill anyone anywhere and make it look like an accident. Kill my mark with my blades of psychic energy and misty step out of sight before they realize what happened. It would be so much fun! Oh the trolling I could do!

My current character is an Air Genasi rogue who is canonically part of a party of anthropologists as we explore the Temple of Elemental Evil. They are nonbinary and almost as flamboyant as the bard, choosing to "hide" by blending in rather than being a lurker. Not only do they have lockpick and sleight-of-hand expertise, but they can also float as part of their natural abilities. However, as part of their homebrew abilities, they can also grow or shrink down a size three times a day. Those are their innate abilities, also, because the DM has homebrewed some characters in from our past campaigns as helpful NPCs, they also have Stealth Armor (studded leather), a +2 obsidian dagger, and a few other cosmetic items (I can basically cosplay as a Tabaxi Noble, call back to one of my previous characters). Seeing as I'm a pretty boring office worker who rather hunker down in front of my computer monitor and take a nap, I'm not sure if any of that would benefit me irl. XD

Similar to the “character is hunting you down” video, i have two options. There’s emma, the most recent ttrpg character ive played, and viros, the most recent dnd character ive played. Emma, being a character from hunter: the vigil… is basically a regular human. Without other people as part of a cell or her compact, she has no special abilities different from a normal human. I would get increased expertise in firearms, stealth, larceny, and occult knowledge though, which could be nice. Viros… is a paladin of a demon lord, specifically that of rakdos himself from the ravnica setting. Viros herself is massively sadistic, chaotic evil, but as someone who doesn’t wanna hurt anyone irl getting stuck with her oath probably isn the best case. I could try being a sort of vigilante, only harming criminals and other bad people, but idk how well thatll work. Likely ill just end up losing my oath rather quickly, or be forced to harm people to maintain it

Mine was a level 13 moon Druid. One of my favorite tactics is to summon an earth elemental then wildshape into another earth elemental, then surrounding an enemy and giving them the beat down. I also have lots of healing spells, including a tattoo that can healing word 1d6 per my level per day.

Strong, fast & magical, with plenty of innate spells to use for modern-day uses (pretty sure lightning bolt & shocking grasp could be worked for some power generation, just to start).

I don't know if you're counting DMPC, so I'll just put both. Normal PC: Ozaki Willow a lvl 4th Scout Rogue with one level of Twilight Cleric with a ninja theme. So I'm suddenly a nature survival expert, 300ft of darkvision, able to use some of the Cleric's more Utility spells, able to use basically any weapon since Shinobi loved to use black powder for explosives and firearms once they got hold of it, I'm in decent shape with a STR of 13, Dex/Con of 17, really smart with an Int of 17 and Wis of 14, and finally rather charismatic with a score of 15. Additionally I gain the following Prof's Skills: Acrobatics [Expertise], Animal Handling, Deception, Insight, Nature [Expertise], Perception [Expertise], Performance, Religion, Slight of Hand, Stealth [Expertise], Survival [Expertise], Tools: Alchemy Tools, Calligrapher, Cook's, Disguise, Poisoners' Smith's Thieves and Leatherworker's tools I'd most likely get a job as either someone who goes in to the wild looking for people who are lost and injured or hunting down poachers. Maybe both. The ability to speak Undercommon, Thieves' Cant and Draconic would be a bonus, and I would 100% use them to freak people out with Draconic or insult people without them knowing with Thieves' Cant. No idea what Undercommon would sound like. Then again since I'm a Cleric and legit get powers from the divine... could lean into that but I doubt it. I'd most likely keep that on the down low unless absolutely necessary. DMCP: Crelypsis Coldgaze of House Gladler a Noble Born Levistus Tiefling, Draconic Bloodline Sorcerer. The powers of Ice are mine to command, along with knowing all the ins and outs of running large businesses, contracts, a lot of astronomy [Assuming I'd get the equivalent knowledge for the night sky of this world]. A good bit of magical theory and how to make magic items since studying those were her hobbies along with astronomy, I'd be really good at chess, have good calligraphy, able to speak Draconic, Infernal and Celestial, be damn good at fencing, as for skills it'd gain Prof in Arcana, History, Intimidation and Perception. Not as much but the group's still level 1 and has so much room to grow. Down side, no fire spells for me since I ruled it that due to how much her nature/magic is tied to ice/snow, she's unable to cast stuff like Fireball. Good thing I already made a spell to replace it and deals Cold Damage. Honestly if I get her powers I'd most likely either write books on astronomy or... honestly I'm not sure. See if I can legit make some magic items? That could be a fun way to cause some harmless chaos.

well this means i'd have fairy powers as well as draconic sorcerer (blue/bronze.. fae magic is weird) and genie (djinn) warlock powers.. all i can say is i'd have fun with magic powers and the ability to fly and teleport. i dont know if i would openly change my way of life. i'd likely try to keep my abilities on the downlow as to not draw government attention.. but at the same time i could probably use some of the powers to get a good job and make money (like druidcraft's ability to predict weather could possiblly help with being a weatherman at a news station). it is worth noting i had the "command" spell and "hightened spell" metamagic so i could probably force anyone to do nearly anything i want as its unlikely a normal human would be able to resist (im assuming dice rolls wouldnt be a thing irl, so heigthened spell would just make the spell twice as hard to resist). though idk what i'd do with that yet.. (heh, getting my kids to listen would be a breeze at least XD )

Huh. I'm now a Third Level Crystal Dragonborn Battle Smith Artificer, with all that entails. I'm not much stronger than I was (or, well... I'm probably stronger, but not all that much so), but I'm probably a good bit more agile, and at least as intelligent as I am now (though more likely more so), I'm now telepathic, and thus able to speak to and be understood by anyone (though might not understand _them_). And as a Battle Smith Artificer, I'm trained in combat and as a blacksmith, tinkerer... and most critically, as a magical engineer, able to build a basic combat golem. Plus I know the Homunculus Servant Infusion, and the Bag of Holding... I also have the Prestidigitation Cantrip, and access to the entire Artificer spell list with only a night's rsst... And the thing is... this all comes from _working knowledge_ of magic and how it functions. And because I know how it works, I know how to teach others. Meaning I become ground zero for the introduction of magic into our world.

I get to play my magic wielding, heat ray rifle toting, power armor upgrading/wearing Technopagan? Hell yeah! That guy is a skilled engineer that just picked up software engineer so he can update the AI in his power armor, and has magic to supplement it all, including: basic energy blasts that are either just damage or an EMP, energy shields or counter magic, summoning magic and the creation of magical circle, conjuration magic (like summoning but nonliving things) so he can always have the right tool or material, magic that lets him turn things into other things, and healing magic! The chaos starts when things start disappearing around the world because Conjuration magic in that system yoinks the closest thing you want from somewhere else, but I can be pretty careful with that if I think about it.

My current character is a Lawful Neutral half elf half human male knight name Z. And I play him in a TTRGP which uses Chronicles of Darkness as its system. So thanks to that, I'm fairly average in a lot of things. With magic being one of the things which Z is unable to use yet due to how the means for him to do so is associated with a future adventure. However, it does mean I'm a jack of all trades and can do whatever I want. After all, any combination of the stats which CoD(Not the video game) has available would let me become something like a Vet or even a Politican who tricks people into a cult. But if anything, I would be a mercenary who does have morals regarding what jobs I do. Since there is a line I wouldn't and if I do then I would have to go off and start a new life in another country. And I don't want to go through the effort of doing that.

They also know most to all languages late game to be able to better mock people.

I am now elf, have expertise in Perception, can ride animals, have access to the level 3 spells from Tasha's ranger, can summon a rideable mount once per long rest, know how to use all weapons, add a d4 at will on damage on top of a bonus d6 to finesse weapons with a perk that I can choose one weapon to have the finesse weapon property, which for me is the Glaive until I level up in ranger. I would probably end up working for some rich people as protection and/or entertainment. I would have the abilities of a level 8 Storm Herald Barbarian and a level 12 Celestial Warlock. Expertise in Performance with his violin, Spell Sniper with the Eldritch Spear Invocation, can read any language, can breathe under water, can fly thanks to some winged boots, has a Vorpal Scimitar, and a Belt of Fire Giant Strength. He has invisibility and teleportation magic, and a few spells that could be considered war crimes if actually used in a populated area. I'd make an excellent assassin, but I'd prefer to focus on the protection and healing powers instead.

Rune Knight Fighter 9/Creation Bard 4. I’m suddenly incredibly acrobatic and persuasive, and I’m no longer bad at anything. I can’t be surprised. I can grow to over ten feet tall for one minute five times a day. I can cast first- and second-level spells. For 5 hours at a time, once per day, I can create any non-magical object the size of a person or smaller, as long as it’s not too expensive. I would probably mostly use healing magic-as my character often does-but if I wanted to cause chaos, I’m sure I could use Prestidigitation, Mage Hand, and Nathair’s Mischief to that effect-not to mention summoning random objects in unexpected locations.

My last/current character is a Lv. 11 Way of Shadow Monk who is also a bakeneko (spirit cat yokai from Japanese mythology, homebrew race, think a ghostly tabaxi). So, I'm basically a yokai with abilities including, but not limited to, martial arts skills, heightened agility, heightened senses, sharp claws, walking on walls, invisibility, shadow teleportation, fire magic, illusions, reviving recently killed people, and a few bits of necromancy. Plus, the extra durability of being a Lv. 11 character. Consider that IRL, I live in Detroit. While a lot of parts aren't as bad as the news or the RoboCop movies like to make it seem, there are sadly parts that live up to the reputation of being Gotham without Batman. And it would be a waste to not do anything with all this power I would have. So, time for this ghost cat to haunt a few streets.

If this doesn't include Baldur's Gate characters, the last character I played was a lvl 5 tiefling draconic lineage (red) sorcerer with a +4 charisma modifier. I also had an added +3 to persuasion due to proficiency. Funny thing is I can't remember what my other stats were or what other skills I was proficient with besides arcana. I honestly don't know what I'd actually do with any of it except for the persuasion ability, because I prefer to talk things out instead of resorting to violence.

..welp, Let's see.. halfling Assassin Rogue/Gunslinger Fighter. I'm gonna have ridiculous amounts of luck, I'm gonna be freakishly dexterous, probably one of the best people in the world with guns, along with being a skilled inventor, I also have really high investigation, so.. I'd either become a wandering vigilante (Basically Red Hood without the trauma), making money by fixing things and selling inventions, or I'd use my gunslinging abilities to do stunts and make money to fund my inventions, using my high investigation to ensure I always know how to fix a problem.

last character I played was yestedsay, Drachas Erligissa-Phoenix, she's a goliath oath of glory paladin 6/draconic bloodline sorcerer 4. So, I'm suddenly very resistant to the cold, which doesnt matter cuz Im Brazilian, very resistant to getting hurt, immune to diseases (I dont think psychological stuff like depression and anxiety counts, right...? but its nice anyways), got a bunch of healing spells and abilities and I can teleport 9m at a time with misty step. As a goliath oath of glory with 20 STR, I also just became absurdly strong and ripped, and can jump rly rly far. I should become an olympic athlete, wont even specify the sport, Id break every possible record... and I also got the unarmed fighting style and a few features that allow my unarmes attacks to also grapple, shove, etc as bonus action or effects when hitting, and a +13 athletics with advantage on every STR check (and also DEX checks when channeling divinity - meaning, good luck trying to grapple me), so not only an olympic athlete, I could enjoy a few years of absolute dominance as an MMA star or smth, become an absolute legend of a thousand different sports then retire live happily after ever, away from the spotlight, with my wife; despite the +4 Charisma score I just got, Id say I'm not inheriting her personality and am still the quiet, autistic me.

Lvl 9 lore bard. Flute carrying bane of quiet....thunder clap, thunder wave, fireball. My half elf is like that scene in marvel's "Thor Ragnarok" where Thor brings the thunder and lightning down on the zombie army on the rainbow bridge....in our last session we had to go stealth navy seals. One I have no stealth as a bard (key word "BARD!!!!!!!"). Two there was an area effect spell of silence. So, no casting. So I drew my long sword, tossed my dancing sword in the air and charged in , with my tea cup Chihuahua familiar based on my IRL cardiac service dog.

The last one I played as was a hunter from bloodborne. The healing would be nice, but no magic to speak of. Either of my other major characters though, and I'd either be a powerful bard/rogue who casts spells through throwing daggers, or an awakened fox with some potent storm magic and effective immortality.

I kind of mesh myself into my characters, but I’d most likely wake up as my favorite character, and the one I’ve been playing the longest, her name is Keelan. First things first, my eyesight would be 1000% better than that is now, keen senses! Yes, please. She’s a ranger, just got herself a Sunblade, so what would I do? After I figured out, I could actually see? Running around like crazy trying to see everything, and then, because I’m a magical quiver, target practice in some forest somewhere, maybe some local park, Where our trees, so I can shoot, said trees. I probably become some kind of park ranger, although I get myself some gun knowledge and licensure prior to that. Probably a park ranger around Yellowstone, that’s where I always imagine my wolf coming from, some kind of northwesterly Place, plenty of wolves. Especially considering her recent reaction to our time wizards futuristic gadgets, she distinctly despises his car, they are because it’s loud, as it loud enough that you can’t hear yourself think.

Finally, I can look down at my kids again! Well, I can look to tallest in the eye, at least. 3 of my kids are taller than me, with the youngest of those 3 being 12. I play 2 games a week, a mid-week game on Wed nights, and a family game on Sat afternoons. In both games, I'm actually the tallest: my elf gloomstalker/assassin in the family game is 6'2", the same height as my 16 y/o. I also play a 7'8" Giff on Wed nights, but today is Sunday, and the family game was yesterday. Forget everything I can pull off as a 6/4 ranger/rogue, I'm taller than my kids again.

I'm now a bard who plays the fiddle with physical capabilities that far surpass what I used to have (the stats rolled up were so good that from anyone else I'd have thought it was cheating, but the game's DM was there in the back helping make the character while I was driving. We were going to the movies at the time to see Captain America when it was new and were going to play when we got back). I can use magic up to level 2 spells, and know even more bad puns than I used to. I no longer am socially awkward due to a MUCH higher ability with charisma than normal-me has. Still Human. - As to what I'd do? ....Probably not much different from what I'm doing now, unless other people start bragging on VRChat about the same thing happening to them. I don't really socialize much outside of video games. If the prior sentence occurred I'd see about forming a real-life party, then hire a wizard that has Plane Shift to drop us off someplace where we can go a-questing and leveling up more.

My last character dates all the way up to AD&D 2nd edition... I was playing a doppelganger ninja/psionicist and made it all the way to level 26. That character was part of my life for 12 years and went through sooooo much, it would take books to tell everything! I was a master of time and space, could heal as much as a cleric, countless destructive and defensive powers at my command . How many times did we save the universe? My last character was an echo night fighter but my guy was literally insane, talking to a straw doll (who later after I took warlock levels, pact of the chain, became my familiar (aka dm said I can have the sprite that I wanted inhabit my doll and became my permanent summon)). I would be an asylum escapist due to backstory of being kidnapped by illithids and experimented on. If I had magic items, I would become a 20 ton giant with all of the above and my doll would grow to an adult size version of itself and scare the living out of people

Funny thing about me is that I'm playing Hero Quest instead of DnD since it's the only one me and my friends could play without causing too much chaos. In that case, I would probably have the wizard's magic and the gear he has, giving me more defend dice and because no where in the world does it say how long a turn would last, i could use magic whenever I wanted. I'm not sure if the magic is available to refresh, but I think I would get my spells replenished every day.

I think I was a half Goliath druid, we were level 17. I was a double prestige class, beast master and beast heart adept. In the end I used a baliste as a crossbow, had five animals in combat one being a behir and another being a dire tortoise. And then 3 raptors who's names I stole from Jurassic world. The real life aspect is that I probably would had been one of the worlds leading animal handling and rescue people. My ability to track and handle animals was a flat 20 before base stat buffs or class features. I would have the worlds best zoo.

I get to be a 5’11 Level 6 High Elf with black hair and purple eyes. I’m a guy now and 112 years old, but being an Elf, I look very young UwU I can also be much more productive only needing a short rest to be fully energized also- DARKVISION FOR 60 FEET I’m a wizard sage with cantrips: Acid Splash, Control Flames, Dancing Lights, Mage Hand, and Message. My spells are: Detect Magic, Magic Missile, Thunderwave, Levitate, Misty Step, and Flame Arrows. MWAH HAH HAH HAH, teleportation, controlling fire, making light shows, and basically flying will be awesome. Mage Hand will be interesting, and useful

My current character is a Worlds Without Number character, which makes him a bit different from standard DnD. I’ll start from the top. My class is Warrior. This class has the highest average health and the best Atk Bonus (helps w/landing hits and adds damage). The Warrior has 2 Class Abilities. Killing Blow lets me add half my level to the damage of my attacks, which is hard to quantify irl but oh well 🤷‍♂️. Veteran’s Luck is more interesting tho, with it I can choose to guarantee a hit on an enemy or a miss on me once per scene. WWN lets you choose Foci, which grant you certain special abilities. My first is Nullifier, which makes magic less effective on me, useless irl. Unarmed Combatant basically allows me to kill people with my fists. Currently, UC allows me to deal 1d10 + 5 damage with an unarmed melee attack (keeping in mind that the hit die for a short sword is 1d6). Onto specific feats my character has performed: Strength: Collapsed a woman’s skull with a punch, carries a full barrel of wine with him at all times (fights, adventuring, resting, etc), grappled a lizard man strong enough to almost kill an experienced pirate Constitution: Was repeatedly deafened by a giant bell (recovering his hearing within minutes), slashed by a rapier in the throat, and took an arrow straight in the back

Hmmm, my level 7 tiefling roguebarian: - thaumaturgy at will, hellish rebuke and darkness once per day - 21 STR, 17 DEX, 19 CON, 10s in the rest - 18 AC because of dual wielding - permanent fire resistance, resistance to all damage except psychic while in rage (Bear Totem) permanent force imunity (due to a hombrewed magic item) - can get a free proficiency daily (Phantom Rogue) - 3 charges of wails from the grave (Phantom Rogue) per day - a fuckton of HP - advantage on DEX saving throws - under the protection of a chaos god Life'd be awesome, can't complain too much, except for the fact that I'd have to eat 5 times the amount a normal person would need in a day.

Level 10 circle of the moon Druid … I would talk to my dog. Endlessly. There would never be a moment where I don’t have speak with animals up. Also plant growth to save my struggling aloe Vera plant. Also using a crap ton of summon spells to just get a bunch of squirrels to bring litter into a dumpster so the nearby wooded area is at least slightly less filled with empty beer cans. Also purify water on the creek. Basically I’d just become an irl Druid and live my best life lmao. I would also turn into a bird and/or air elemental and start flying because that just sounds fun.

Excluding current characters... My "Last" character in Pathfinder (which is basically D&D) was Zenon, an Aasimar Crossblooded Celestial/Vestige Bloodrager... So imagine a man too angry to die and can summon a ghost army, runs very fast, can turn armies of men into balistic projectiles, and can jump very good. Needless to say, a very specific set of powers for a very specific problem. There was one homebrew power the GM gave my character given he was resurrected by and an early follower of my Demi-God character from the campaign before that, the Domain powers of a single Domain from the demi-god, which of course... Would imply the demi-god also exists. The one I picked wasn't very powerful, I could heal a dying creature just enough to not bleed out, and bring back someone who died in the last minute for two minutes at a time (and do this only a handful of times a day); the latter of which was basically only useful for resetting the time limit for using Breath of Life on them, which probably could save some lives if like in-universe a Defibulator works as Breath of Life. The big thing with those abilities, besides the potential to be an emergency worker, is that having that ability means my Demi-God character EXISTS... Which basically means, it would be time to go on a holy quest to spread the word of Orphea, Demi-god of Dragons, Guns, Liberty, Life, and Lightning.

Well my last time playing I went with Chaos (pretty fitting name) my 5th level evocation wizard + 3rd leve aberrant mind sorcerer. Honestly I would mostly have fun with the at will stuf 20 intelligence some cantrips (prestidigitation, control flames and mending), rituals, specially comprehend languages, and telepathy. Some other neat tricks would fly, invisibility, haste and silent cast of detect thoughts. Unfortunately I’m not as into blowing people up as he is but what is nice utility in DnD would be crazy irl

I might have a problem, as I'm currently playing two different characters in the same game. The first is a Drowess divine soul9/pact of the Celestial3 both of Ba'hamutt. She has subtle spell and extended spell with the boon of the book of shadows. She has the ritual casting invocation and is being sponsored by two litches, one of them being Aserek. She is currently helping both Dragon Gods keep an upstart from ReDestorying reality. The other character is a tortured victim of Aserak who became a Wildmagic Barbarian 12 out of the deal. The DM is letting me use the boosted Surge options released by Bone Wizard. Again, I'm playing two characters at the same time. Seems like i just casually became an untraceable magic user who's obsessive control of his emotions just became VERY IMPORTANT. Not sure what will happen beyond me having multiple problems the moments I can't hide anymore.

Well I’d by an old Goblin Graviturgist wizard named “Bob Da Wise.” Evil goblin campaign we are currently playing through that is all the right amounts of chaos. Key note abilities are of course manipulating gravity by doubling or decreasing someone’s speed/weight by half that I can touch for up to a minute, and just yeeting folks five feet in a direction of my choosing. Spells at my disposal worthy of note, magic missile, pulse wave, fireball, gravity sinkhole, considering most common humans have 4hp, Bob alone has a rap sheet with a body count high enough to re-write the Geneva convention, that’s assuming my goblin cohorts aren’t also included. Non combat spells we have Alter self, Nethair’s mischief, grease, rope trick, blink, and the most powerful third level spell, sending (I’ll die on this hill fight me.)! For ample means to get away after his mischief. Basically he’s Yoda with Palpatine’s moral compass. Also we are only level 7 and already we used sending to troll a dragon into causing a nation wide panic and serve as a distraction while we take over the now unprotected communities.

Mar Ine: A 6th level Wood Elf Samurai Fighter, with Crossbow Expert and Sharpshooter. He's fairly persuasive and intimidating, trained in carpenters and woodcarvers tools, knows his way around a boat and the ocean. I'd probably start up a carpenter shop or become an archery teacher or join the coast guard. Joining the coast guard would be what he would do, as he absolutely despises pirates. He's not very strong though, and has average intelligence

Since I'm very strong, can shoot firebolts, and have a revolver with unlimited ammo, you better believe I'm opening a real detective agency and putting those crime fighting skills to good use!!

Fargarr's a blood hunter, so most of his spotlighted abilities are channeled through his arsenal and thus kinda useless to me in the peaceful life I have... but I built him for a homebrew modern-day setting and he has 20 intelligence, so I'm sure I could come up with something to do. Military mechanic, perhaps; he's particularly good with tools. *(Nerd Alert)* Of course this assumes I'm able to keep these powers and abilities; it was nice to be able to do off-road repairs on a car in the middle of a jungle (after we killed the burrowing animal that had flipped it over from beneath) and get it back on the road again, but it all goes to waste if it's only for one day.

I would turn into a 3 bard 3 warlock pseudodragon with a sturdy and very strong human familiar (seriously, 18 STR and 14 CON), and while some of the knowledge I'd gain would be irrelevant, I'd have basically every 1st and 2nd level charm, minor illusion, invisibility, sleep, and mage hand (which I can just sit on due to the whole pseudodragon thing). The main downside would be barely being able to carry 50 lbs, but I'm already not very strong, so overall it would be very useful.
