I overheard some younger men who were inside of a restaurant a few years back who collectively boasted of their intentions on becoming marauders during SHTF. Realizing their stupidity at saying it out loud, they immediately tried acting as if they were only joking. I know their type; they weren't joking.

This one is a great message because it seems like no matter how much I try to make it clear to people who I talk with to make sure they have water, water filtration, food, medical, tools and are doing what they can to get in shape there's just a mindset of all guns and ammo which are important but if you're dehydrated and starving it's gonna be next to impossible for you to be effective with those, great video God bless you man👍🇺🇸

In a SHTF/grid-down situation unless you have stocked up on vodka you may consider investing in a still. They can be purchased online in various sizes. Having plenty of food is always a plus but having the ability to make your own alcohol is even a bigger plus. Not only for medicinal purposes but for barter as well. Just something you may want to think about and possibly make a video about,. note it is legal to own a still and to make alcohol for personal consumption. The ongoing effort to ban certain weapons in some states, has skewed the purchasing decisions of many preppers. The urge to buy something before it is banned can be quite strong and is in fact a legitimate reaction to such bans. Garden supplies and bulk foods are vital to a community but will (probably) never be banned.

Lol, it's a ploy by insider trading politicians. They buy the stocks low, push an anti 2nd amendment bill hard. People buy up guns n ammo. Stock prices go up, dirty politicians sell stocks. Supreme Court axes the regulation. Stocks go back down. Rinse and repeat.

If back in 1968 a person invested in some full auto tools , that investment would still be a good(great) one because that law is still in effect.

The fact is that some marauders become true professionals and very dangerous to farmers and homesteaders. All you need to do is study world history and learn that entire countries made their living as marauders and slavers...

After an event, a local community can and will form ad hoc from the people right there on your road due to outside pressures if there are any resources present to protect. Plan and prep for that community before some event happens to make that group as strong as possible. Assert ROL in your area, and people will be desperate for just a possibility of such stability and will support such efforts.

Thank you for making this point again, @Ethical Preparedness. Everyone should remember that it will not be just one or two people. Marauders will get together in groups of 10 or more and it's very difficult to defend against that many people. So keep your preps secret and don't be a fat man in lean times.

It's just a matter of time before famine and desperate people show what they are truly capable of against those flaunting their goods. Noah was a clear example. In the end if not teaming up with same mindset people eventually you will fall to herds of beggars.

EP, I Have spent the last 23 days in a fever pitch getting prepped. Likely had a CHF Heart Attack last week according to my Cardiologist. Pushed through it though might end up Admitted to Hospital next week depending on Tests. I am of the opinion that time is of the essence in regards to preparing. I think calamitous tultumatious dark difficult interesting times ahead are imminent. Any time now. I have been readying my fall back site. Rest for the next two days getting laundry done and planting gardens. With the political circus trial, Loss of USD as reserve currency to BRICS, possibility of tactical nukes getting tossed about in EU. WE are in Deep SHYTF, WWIII Is in fact underway. Wow, nice job of kicking my butt all over the place. I am slightly prepared but not even close to having enough food to sustain until I can provide my own food. It seems like there are a lot of animals around, but like you said when everybody starts getting after them they will disappear quickly. Personally, I'd rather die than trample others. But being prepared is better.

This video cannot get any truer. But people also need a team. No one household can defend anything efficiently. You can't defend your garden, shed, barn, house, family from 2 or 3 sides of attack. People have to sleep sometime. At all times someone MUST be watching. People need communication between each other also.

I don't want to be a negative person, but I think stating what I'm about to say is needed. I honestly think a good chunk of preppers will end up as some form of Marauder or taking advantage of people. Most will get desperate and see their firearms or whatever weapon they can get as their only resort to food and supplies. Marauders are likely going to chaos in the short term in the first months of SHTF. Just look at when the Hurricanes hit, looting, violence mass criminality being performed. in SHTF that will done on a higher tier. History has shown us that over time there will emerge groups dedicated to raiding and leeching of the producing folks, like the how mountain folk or steppe nomads would raid farming communities. In fact some of these raider groups will grow large and strong and know their craft quite well.

The amount of wild game will disappear very fast as people from urban areas will go to rural areas in an attempt to feed their family. People in the rural areas will have to attempt to protect wild game in their area. This will result in removing threats to their food source.

IMHO, survival won't be about how good of a prepper or scavenger you are but how quickly you can find and build up a strong community. All these go-it-alone preppers on their hordes out in the woods will just be loot drops for the marauders.
