Maybe put some charcoal in the poop area or a 5 gal paint can to catch waist to bury waist, vent tube … great start. I’ll send you a pick of my finished product. Some cedar panels may be a nice upgrade

I’m going to make mine out of steel plate so it can double as a storage area. So I can leave a small solar system, hotspot/cell tower router and Wi-Fi camper’s to watch my land live.

Good video to have made since people that have never used proper software don't know it issues seconds to work.. It that an attack can be one in less than a few seconds... Again attacks are done usually by a group almost never a one Inn one

1) spray Tempo everywhere 2) when you make the moon in the door, make sure to put metal Mesh over it to keep mice out.

Wow...never used an outhouse. A joy to use in February -- plan the path. It is indeed one of the fancier ones I have seen. From all you raider videos, this will be a spotlight and you will never see them coming. However a great idea and a realistic fancynone. Your next one will be two seater.

You need to install ventilation holes on the upper sides of the captain's and first mate's cabin allowing the toxic carbon monoxide (CO) and other lighter-than-air gasses to ventilate. The same for having a near ground level grating for the heavier-than air carbon dioxide (CO2) ventilate out under the backside of the throne. One could also install a metal duct work on the throne up the side of the corner and out through the top with a conical or domed head cap. Also consider right now to move the edifice, and dig down 6-8 feet deep, as the odors will be further away from the throne and vent out easier. You will be amazed at how fast dooky, wipe, and alkaline ph wood ash) will clog up a pit, and then having to move the edifice in a very short time. 6-8 feet gives one more time and depth, as one also must cover up the bank deposits with at least 1 1/2 feet of soil for safe and sanitary disposal of the site. 4-5 feet means that you only have 2 1/2 - 3 1/2 feet of bank deposits, which isn't much as the Gringold's treasure gets piled up into a hillock. 6-8 feet gives you 4 1/2 - 5 1/2 feet of bank deposits and a longer time period of making bank at that site. Also, other molds, mildews, fungus, viruses, diseases etc. that get deposited will also continue to spore, ... and any air movements will cause the organism to waft the air with their germs, bacteria, virus, etc. The same for very dangerous and toxic Asian black mold, that has fungal roots that are as deep as dandelions, and no amount of bleach or antiseptic or germicidal/anti-bacterial solution and soaks will completely kill off the roots - which will regrow. This is a toxic sinus/lungs disease that I have literally seen in Asian people's houses (fish aquarium water surface, let alone seeing their pupils in their eyes not look like iris filaments but the underside of a mushroom cap ! So one really needs to have proper ventilation in keeping down moisture, humidity, toxic decomposing gasses, and rampant critters taking over the banking site.

Just a couple of suggestions.... Keep the toilet paper in an old coffee container and also use some yeast to help break down the boom booms. I lived it from a few trips to places most have never been. Yeast is your friend in this area! And then some lime when you shove off.

Very nice work, you also need a small gas heater a ventilation exit and a waterproof box for the toilet paper, baby wipes smells good for this kind of toilet, how deep is the hole you make ??

Outhouses come in very handy. Put a generous of dried mint or a mint plant in there, and you won't have any spiders. Throw dried mint down into the hole. It wouldn't hurt to have a battery powered fan in there. I have a small USB fan that runs for hours and hours on a charge, and it will sit flat on a surface or hang from a hook and you can angle it in any direction. You're definitely going to need Ventilation and just some nice breeze blowing on you because outhouses can get really hot. Cotton balls dipped in eucalyptus oil help keep out other insects. I think ants don't like mint either.

What about heat in it for the winter, gotta take care of the women an kids, an believe me, you will hear about it otherwise. Just food for thought, you already beat me to the coat hooks on this one. Good build in my book, although another commentor stated it, a burn barrel underneath will cure alot of problems down the road for getting rid of waste. Thx for the vid EP

This is high tech. 😂😂😂 I would find something to keep that immediate roll in. Spiders will climb in that hole. I would have a few cans of bug spray. One 20 foot wasp and one mist house. I like the roof but you need a more sturdy design. One tree branch or hail storm.... I would also have sliding peep holes in each direction. I'm betting you have big predators there. And a few more nails to hang extra flashlights, your gun.... And..... 😒 I guess if I built one it would be 20' x 20'...... 😅😅😅

Such a overlooked item when most people will just 'go in the woods" or in a bucket. Nice job on it however it does need a pipe from the pit to roof line vent otherwise the smell will overtake the structure, it also helps with drying out the pit if it gets wet and not rot/mold the underside.

Congrats on the new addition I hope I dont come across as trying to mind your business but some states / EPA dept has started cracking down on out houses Having a tub or a barrel under the seat with a barrel liner in it and a door in the back wall to drag the tub/barrel out and pull the waste filled liner ontop of a pile of firewood and burn it till there is nothing left but ash there is a lot less chance of them saying anything about polluting ground water but your bug out place look great Im happy for you

Do consider to using Quick Lime as it speeds decomposition of the droppings. The addition of a his and her two hole privy. With an exhaust fan and privy venting, too.. You'll be stepping in high cotton for sure. Just sayin.

Need some metal air vents up near the top to vent heat and odors out...very important in the summer. WD-40 or even peppermint essential oil mixed with little water, sprayed around will prevent spiders and wasps. In summer check underneath the seat before using as red wasps love to build under there; no fun to find out about that after setting down. If you cut out a half moon on the door, put a vent screen or piece of that plastic over it so that rain doesn't hit you in the head. Built in holster near the seat for the pew. The thing looks solid as can be though and very nice.

Outhouses are underrated. I never could figure out why and who's bright idea it was to move the popper into the house where you sleep smelling up the house. Wheater it's you or going behind someone that totally stinks, wouldn't it be better to have the stink outside so it can air out instead of having the smell in your house? I don't get it?
