maybe the longer fuselage drone and adding aluminum cage on front, has an excess weight of about 20gr, I have previously crashed but with oasisfly25, hit the power line and hit on the asphalt road, there is no damage to the frame, in my opinion the sub250 frame is quite rigid (maybe using T 700 carbon) so there are some sacrifices such as the weight is a bit up compared to other brands.

Yes is very rigid, carbon is good, but I believe 10/20 grams could be easily shaven, and on a 2.5 inch 2.5mm arms are fine, on a 3 inch I would prefer a little more

Nexa3.5 is slightly lighter, has bigger props and more power, flies a little better too and more efficient if you cruise, also less noise

Can I use a walksnail moonlight with this drone? I can see there is space but do I need a special cable or do I need to solder anything (still working on my soldering skills...;-))

Looks like you can, but you'll have to most probably solder the wires to the UART ground and power

Baby ape is a entry level option, it works fine for analog, if you want to use something with o3 I suggest something else
