@@Rimzler I’ve spoken with Eddie most times and he’s been awesome! Had to shoot them an email after seeing your review though haha. Mine shipped out in the last 24hours. I’m curious if front mount is the softer one after they spoke to you or not. I’m guessing you had this review filmed for some time if you e been working with them :), did you tell them about the front mount needing to be softer a while ago? (Maybe before they made a bunch for Retail?). I know they confirmed to me they fixed the O3 mounting after getting feedback from Albert Kim. Incredible to see a company using great feedback!!! Keep up the great work, love the content 😎

@Jsvids85 yes we have been testing stuff back and forth for a couple of weeks and this softer mount solution was found a few days after so like a week ago, and waited the end of Chinese autumn festival to release the video, probably you have the softer mount!

If anyone is going to buy the O3 version, buy the O3 separately. AvionRC is charging about $220 for the O3. DJI sells the O3 for $179.

Looks great, but for a sub250 is a little heavier: for the 3 inch the volador frame is 65g, the iKon 45, that's the difference in being sub250 with a 850mah or not!

Thanks for great reviews 👍🏻 I am a bit newbie in drones topic so I have question. I understand that DJI O3 system + v3 Goggles are not only compatible with DJI controller but I can use ELRS receiver and use my Jumper t-pro controller with this set? But what about that legendary "pause" button/function on DJI controller? Can I program that too on Jumper t-pro?

You can use o3 only with DJI goggles for video feed (goggles V2,goggles 2, integra and goggles 3) if you use a DJI FPV controller you don't need extra gear, if you want to use a third party controller you need a matching receiver on the drone, taking up an extra port (some smaller drones have built in receivers in the FC, but it's rare) If you use a DJI controller you can start and stop recording with the button on remote, if you use a third party controller you can't map the recording afaik, only record through goggles button Regardless of controller even the DJI one cannot stop the drone mid flight like you do with the avata if that is the question, it's still manual control

What about in compare to Oasisfly25 with weight aroung 170g? I want some small ripper but this Ikon 3 weights around 145? Quite huge different.

I have the goggles 3 but they are a downgrade imho, smaller worse screen, crappy ergonomics, I don't know what's up with DJI, hope they make goggles 2 compatible with o4

How do you get this stuff to europe? do you have to buy/order from the american websites and pay crazy for shipping and import taxes etc... I assume companies also send you a lot of stuff but surely theres taxes on those too

i had no problems ordering from banggood or aliexpress sofar to austria. However i highly recommend the shops iflight eu and drone fpv racer (just google these shops) then you dont have to pay any import fees which can occour when ordering lipos from banggod/aliexpress

Yes most times they send me stuff, and I have to pay hundreds a month in custom duties, I'm in italy, and the amount paid per package is ever changing and cannot find a correlation, sometimes they ask 10euro for an expensive drone and sometimes 60 for some cheap parts or frame, I don't understand, but yeah when you buy from china consider +20/40 euro import taxes, this is mostly true for fast shipping services, regular post doesn't get taxed so often

I have both goggles 2 and 3 and 99% use the 2 as they are better, the 3 have received a few updates lately so I think they solved that, I was updating just today

Just bought sb bee25 .... Awaiting delivery... I would go for this 3' model..... anyway I'm just a beginner 1 year in fpv and currently have, 1.6 fly lens/ comming bee25/ manta 3.6 ( thx for review) , mario 5 full kit, gprc mak 5 dc, and lovely DJI FPV ...still my trusted dron with dji handbrake...but i don't remember when I flew last time 😂. My opinion. Definitely ikon 3 over babyhawk. Replaceable arms for the ikon and it’s a more refined/upgraded/ newer package. I had the babyhawk with the vista previously (awesome drone) I wanted the one with the O3 but was seeing a lot of reports about jello for them. Sounds like AvionRC is already addressing that with the ikon3. With the babyhawk I had, if u crack an arm you have to replace the entire bottom place which is a pain vs 1 simple arm.

Oasis fly 25 flies great, but 30g heavier and smaller props, I will always favor lighter drones when choosing especially sub250, that weight means bigger batteries on the iKon!

It's coming, I have been testing the drone, works perfect, the accessories are not sold and they sent them for testing, work but need a little refinement, wanted to wait an update to show more functions out of it and make a more complete review, I will be posting shorts in the meantime
