4 bet all in with AKo is probably something he have picked up from GTO wiz who does this 85% of the time in these positions. I havent played or studied poker for a while, but for me it seems that you can now be a lot more aggresive in your normal size 4bet pots since you dont miss as often on lower boards when AKo is almost out of the range. with AKs GTO wiz still use normal sizing 100% of the time.
