You will lose friends.

Whether we like it or not we will lose friends, life happens and things move on. Just being understanding that we will get to a point where we are alone and that's okay, it's accepting that which is the challenge.
Everyone gets worried about losing a friend or "needing" them to stay, but we eventually grow apart. Every friend you have ever had in your life has played a roll to get you where you need.

I'm 63 and I have lost many friends... some came back... some are gone forever... many are dead. Some I don't even remember. One friend has stayed with me since were were children, but even our friendship waxes and wanes.

Its very easy to keep friendships, its hard to let them go. Of course all friendships have ups and downs, I have a journal and in that journal I write exactly what I did that day, so friends I have lost or forgotten still hold a place and time in my timeline. Thanks for the comment 🌎🥂

I think even the bad influences can have an impact on your life. Not saying you keep those friends, but saying that you part ways and learn from it too. You never ever stop learning in life, even if you are a senior person. The friends for life, the ones you are certain you will still spend lots of time with when you're 40 or older...those are extremely rare. If you know who those are hang onto them for dear life. Regardless of the friend though, cherish the time with them. Some it will be time wasted, others it will be time well invested in. Remember there are no refunds on time, spend it wisely.

Youre very true. We will make a lot of freinds in our lifetime. Im from India, and I've travelled i mean moved school, then college was in a different city, so School freinds, college freinds, then studied I.T so had some friends there, then it was work so moved 3 jobs in India, then joined Passenger cruise lines, made friends there, travelled the world by 30, and now im in England. And now ive got only 1 best freind, few who i still keep in touch , but yes, sometimes i was scared of loosing my School friends because they felt like Family, when it was prom at school, and we knew we would all go out separate ways, some of our school friends cried a lot..

Hi Ben. That speaks volumes about how conscious you actually are. I reckon you must have been through thick and thin, so this ain't sound shit whatsoever, but real and thought out. You seem stoic to a point, I would love to ever get. That's resilience from an introvert point of view. Somehow you feel safe with yourself to get rid of anything (anyone) that does not tally with you. Having quite a nut to crack with this one, I must admit. Craving to get out of that loneliness bulb, yet to some point able to tell apart what's for me, what against. Nevertheless, cheers mate. Well, if that happens it's because they weren't such good friends. An influential Brazilian journalist said that she prays like this: "God, protect me from my enemies, and from my FRIENDS!!!" We ourselves are our best friends. A philosopher and history professor said that 'we must listen to everyone, speak to few; and DON'T SAY EVERYTHING'. :)

100%, I love this. I think there is a deeper level too though, sometimes we outgrow each other and thats okay maybe something didn't really go wrong but our paths no longer crossed and thats okay too!

I'm not a religious fanatic and I also don't consider the Bible to be an absolutely infallible book (after all, the texts were written by human beings)... But in this book something like this is written: "Cursed is the man who trusts in man!". This is why I think we should only fully trust the 'God System algorithms'. :)
