Coach what a blow out video, my 1st ever Pro Lloyd explained the pressure change exectly like you said. Last golf game I was doing the trail leg extension and was not buckling my trail leg, that made me stay more athletic over the ball and boom the the ball flew like Robin Hood arrows. Just a quick update, I'm hitting the 5W off the fairway very good and wow it is helping my long Par4 and even Par5. Tomorrow I am having a lesson and can't wait to go practice my putting, I love it the most in golf.

Todd, from Springfield. MO. Like another subscriber asked, are you suggesting straightening the trail leg?
@USGOLFTVshow2 жыл бұрын
Good question, you want to release boy straighten the trial leg. This movement allows for more hip turn and also tilts the hips at the correct angle.
@garyfinkbiner62522 жыл бұрын
Todd, can this be applied to an open stance? Pulling my lead foot back a little seems to help me get through the ball

Would You,recommend flaring that back foot as it makes it harder to keep pressure on inside of Foot? From Cincinnati. Thank You!

Depends on overall hip flexibility. In general we have our students flare the trail foot to help with rotation. Make sense?

What do you mean by “release the trail leg?” Straighten it a little bit at the top of the backswing from having it flexed / bent at address?
@USGOLFTVshow2 жыл бұрын
That is correct, release not straighten. See here www.badliegolfbook.com/
@garyfinkbiner62522 жыл бұрын
Doug, I am a little confused also. Already have trail leg flexed at address. Going to play tomorrow and I guess straighten the trail leg and see how it goes. If you try this, please let me know
@USGOLFTVshow2 жыл бұрын
@@garyfinkbiner6252 good question. The trail leg should release slightly. For example, if you have 30 degrees of bend for sake of discussion, you want to release it to 15 degrees of flex. Make sense?
