I fully agree! If he starts putting out content consistently, his channel is gonna blow up REALLY fast. If mr. Ballen has almost 10 mil subs, Doug will too. The thing about his channel is, even though I binged watched all of them in a few days, is that bc of the ones he had being so good & most of which are original, I believe he needs to make different sections & really categorize them bc he still seems kinda new but the best ones are the ones we've never heard & I'll be it, better than any story I've ever heard. I wish he would do more cryptid, skinwalker, mimic/doppelganger ones. Those were by far my favorite, so I wouldn't want people to miss those. He needs to have his originals in their own category for sure so people won't miss the best ones & just skim over his channel.

I work at a nursing home for people with dementia and done so for many years, so I'm really used to old people behsving really really strange and often unhinged. But there was one time when I had kitchen duty i had put a knife on kitchen island and I had it to my back. Then when I turned around there was this lady, who didn't speak anymore, holding the knife in a firm grip, standing still and staring at me while smiling a really big smile. It creeped me out so much and after that I never leave knives or scissors out.
@desireelevesque6348 ай бұрын
My mum started developing dementia over the last 3-4 years and in the last 2 years developed an obsession with hoarding all of the knives and scissors in the house. When I bought replacements for the ones she hid and denied touching, I had to hide them in my own room and use, wash and re-hide them while she was otherwise occupied. I still don't know where all of the original knives are, but while we were still living together, I slept with my door locked and one eye open. In the last year, she has sadly deteriorated to the point where she needs a memory care facility so I'm glad she's in a safer place where she can't wander or otherwise endanger herself or others. But I legitimately lived in fear for my own safety due to her starting to mistake me (her eldest daughter) for her older sister who she hasn't seen in 4 decades or for an imposter version of myself. I wouldn't wish dementia on anyone, I can't begin to imagine what my mum is going through.

HI!!!! ♧ I came from the link you left from the stairs. Which telling as first person, expressions.... dude I thought it was real. I seen a few gripe about beginning repeat, my reply is this: I don't watch TV or go to the movies. What movies & shows I watch are ones I know. SWAT in beginning it repeats what happened I'm guessing last week, (Netflix). I realized quickly you made them short because as a rule most people attention spand is 10 to 15 min. But first person, I couldn't put down my phone. I sent link to daughter & husband, mom & friends. All said the same we thought you really went through this. THAT style story telling suits you. While I enjoyed this it was predictable. I read more than I watch anything. I can't sit still. Looking forward to more first person pov story telling, you truly have what it takes to pull it off. Looking forward to next week. Blessings always, FroggyGirl

There is nothing scarier than a scary old lady i dunno what it is it's so unsettling whn they're old in horror movies.. You're doing great happy to see the channels grown so much ❤❤

OMG the second story just made me think of a more serious rendition of "Arsenic and Old Lace" an old movie about, well, basically a couple of old ladies that run a boarding house and poison ppl. It's a dark comedy, while the reality is just dark, but the similarities. I love the stories and format of this channel. Really loved the staircase in the woods style as well. The campground stories from nosleep are REALLY good as well, if you can get permission. Anyway, thank you for amazing content! ❤

Bro these are great man. But I think I speak for more than myself when I say I miss your creative touch in these stories. Like stairs in the woods. You took the R/Nosleep post about FRS and created your own narrative within that context, with its own characters and stakes. Truly transcendant stuff. It's great that you've been leaning out and covering more bases to see what hits best, but don't forget that original magic

As someone whose been robbed it is so violating to come home to this scene. Also if he's stealing weapons it then becomes an armed robbery ... crazy. Gotta wait for the end now
