However, this illegal invasion of a sovereign country has led to a very serious war. Serious not only for Ukraine, but the whole world. And, as is the case with all such wars, the fight on the Ukrainian side must be fought full-out by both those in uniform, as well as the normal day-to-day Ukrainian citizens. I'm curious to know (without loads of propaganda) over the last 10-15 years how much freedom & quality of life does the average Ukrainian citizen have compared to the average Russian citizen. The quality of life obviously varies greatly from person to person. Just like it does in USA but I'm talking about the overall average big picture. Like Australia compared to USA, on average an Australian citizen has it better there despite Australia being a nanny state with petty laws enforced. There are obviously pros & cons about living in each place but the average person seems to be better off in Australia than USA. The US government for example doesn't want Americans to know that Australian citizens have it better there or they'd demand more. Russian oligarchs- Similar could be said about the rich oligarchs here in USA (the 1%) are filthy rich, while everyone else lives pay check to paycheck. There is tons of propaganda on both sides. Both USA, Russia, NATO & Ukraine government is corrupt and use propaganda and it's citizens as cannon fodder to fight their battles. American is in severe decline.... Now you many American idiots think America would be so much better if we got rid of capitalism & installed communism. lol Common Sense 101: Capitalism obviously isn't perfect either but has a proven track record of working much better. So it'd make more sense to work on fixing the flaws within capitalism than to completely dismantle it and install communism. Which has a long proven track record of not working. I guess you can not compare it "in average", because there is nothing "average" in Russia. Even for Ukraine you can not use the world "average", but I believe in Ukraine we have less gap between poor and rich like in Russia. If you will go to Moscow or St. Petersburg, you will find that prices for apartments there are equal to California. Amount of people which is buying branded cloths like LV, Gucci, Prada and so.... are so much! Amount of luxury cars are so much... At the same time go to Russian remote area, where people simply in apartments (!!!) do not have washrooms. They don't have sewage, they don't have water!!!! Believe, for those people all those sanctions are totally nothing as they are living in a miserable level in cities (I am not talking about some dead villages.) Well in Ukraine, you will find less amount of rich houses and cars, but at the same time, you will not find people living in total poorness like in Russia.

I have lived in the US for the last 30 years, including Trump's time in the White House. The US couldn't care less if you know some other place has a better standard of living. Capitalism is more efficient than communism at pricing and distributing things. Here in the US we have a kind of crony capitalism where politicians can be bought and laws introduced that benefit some segments of the population at the expense of others. Time passes and conditions change and it is hard to compare things with different people in the White House. We have inflation due to the stimulus (money printing) that was introduced because of the overreaction to Covid19 where lockdowns were used to isolate people and shut down parts of the economy. That started under Trump, was continued under Biden. Trump acted like Putin's buddy - he should have recorded their meetings but didn't - had records destroyed when there was a translator there. Pressured Ukraine for info on Biden's son to help win the election, withheld arms shipments. Trump encouraged rioters to subvert the result of the election when he lost. Why not blame Trump when he acted like a proto-Putin (would be authoritarian). The main reason there is huge wealth inequality in the US (and elsewhere) is the monetary system controlled by the Central Banks. Inflation is built in. It harms poor people because they do not have disposable income to buy assets. It helps rich people because they can invest in assets which inflate in price (especially with the stimulus), then live off low interest loans (paying no taxes) secured by those assets.

Because for me both these languages sound identical and Ukrai nian is only a bit easier to understand (in Rus sian there are more words that are completely different). But I heard from a guy who speaks Russian, Ukrainian and Belarus language that it only took him a few hours to learn Polish phonetics and he could understand Polish well. And I heard from some Ukrainians that they had no problems learning Polish. I live in Russia. Actually it's not so difficult to get alternative information. Because you tube is not banned here. The Russian government only blocked Facebook, which no one in Russia uses. They also blocked Instagram (although most of friends still use it) and Twitter. But the main social networking sites for alternative information for us are telegram and KZbin. Surprisingly our government doesn't block none of them. It's hard to tell what percentage of Russians actively support the war. I hope to believe that it's only a minority that actively supports the war. The majority simply aren't involved in politics and don't care about anything that happens in Ukraine, which is a normal human behavior I believe, people often don't care about something that doesn't touch them. Another reason for denial is that they don't want to admit themselves that their army is capable of all this atrocities being committed in Ukraine. Because if they do, it will reveal a horrific truth that the country is lead by a maniac who will soon start killing people in Russia the same way he kills people in Ukraine, should really massive protest arise. Antiwar activists are being punished of course. I saw a video recently, where a guy was arrested for damaging tyres on cars with pro-war signs. The police send about 15 fully armed guys for him.

I know that doesn’t make any sense at all but I found life in Ukraine interesting even though I’ve never been there and I’ve been watching ever since. The woman at 8:57 is the worst out of all of this in my opinion. She is expressing hatred towards all Ukrainains but especially Ukrainian women, after having obviously heard the reports of rape coming out of Ukraine. She is showing the same mindset that so many Russian soldiers no doubt hold towards them, and the same that Red Army soldiers held toward German women in WWII. It was this mindset that allowed so many of the Red Army soldiers to justify all the acts of rape they committed in Germany against the civilian population there, and that allows them to justify it now. Edit:After thinking about it more, some part of me actually pities her too. She seems to have a lot of issues and hatred, which is something I’ve struggled with myself, and she’s no doubt surrounded by propaganda that fans the flames of hate in her heart.
