Next time you spraypaint something, try not to go too heavy. You can avoid pooling at the edges, long dry times, and peeling. With something like this, maybe do your color base first, and then mask for final touches with the spray paint so you can remove the mask while it’s still wet. I’m sure you noticed the lifting at the edges, you can avoid that if you lift while it’s still wet. To avoid the mask sticking too much to your work, pre-stick your mask to a shirt first so you’re left with slightly less adhesion. You can keep the mask’s edges really clean with liquid mask that you can find in any art store’s paint section! All just ideas, you do you. Turned out awesome anyway, as always.

Vexx when you peel it make sure it’s not completely dry but also not too wet. I usually peel after about half or a bit more of the time it takes for the paint to dry

Oreo edits my drawings were made fun of back in elementary school, after 10 or so years of practice, discipline and being my own harshest critic, my art teacher said that out of the 10,000 students he’s taught, i’m in the top two best portrait artists. i know “practice and time” is cliché as fuck but it’s *real* youtube tutorials are also a godsend edit: i’m not trying to sound like a pretentious pos, if you asked me two years ago, i really didn’t think i’d get as far as i did. i just get really sad when i see other people not pursuing things like this because they don’t think they can.

Just remember, ALOT of thin layers to get a smooth illustrated look. The cheaper the paint the more layers. And I reccomend painting on wood panel canvas for smoother look also. Acrylic Gesso is your best friend
