Rin, from experience fading colors off the edges of the canvas really helps with dimensions, and also making the shadows heavier, I found through years of playing with acrylics it's better to make the overall tones slightly darker then you're waiting and then laying fresh paint over areas you want to highly stand out, this helps the drawing have more of a consistent flow and can help human figures look much more 3d then 2d, I love watching you play with paints and expand your art knowledge with every viedo

Wow, I’m finally allowing myself to make art again (not even just digitally, with all the Undo buttons). I’m weirdly good at realism but I want to improve figure drawing. Hearing “What’s the worst that will happen? It’ll look bad? Phfft, I’ve done that before. And guess what? I’m still alliiivvvveeeee!!!” was helpful. I kept telling myself, “if this sucks, no one has to see it.” And I kept not sucking! I avoided a real sketchbook for months because it feels so... permanent. All my mistakes just... right there. Freaky! So believe me when I say in response to that awesome attitude of just... letting yourself work the process of improving: I FELT THAT.

Acrylics don't really seap through pages. They sit on top. they'll buckle the paper, but unless your paper is really thin you won't see any shadowing. watercolors are a different beast

Artsyy no heavy cream is double cream or heavy whipping cream it’s sometimes called. It’s like thick milk, you use to make whipped topping or cream sauces like Alfredo.
