Darn I was actually hoping they would come in under the Model 3. When it comes to everything that comes with the Model 3 rwd, it is still the leader in this class by at least a quarter mile. For 42500 you get adaptive cruise, lane keep assistance, heated seats and steering wheel. And that’s before the $7500 tax credit. The comparable Ionic 6 would be in the mid 50s with no credit.
@mgarcia8878 Жыл бұрын
The base SE rwd starts at 45500. That doesn’t include many options and gets you 361 miles. The SEL rwd for 47700 gets you a few more options like lane keep but the mileage drops to 305. The limited rwd for 52600 gives you all the bells and whistles but you are still sitting at 305 miles in range. Is this really a Model 3 killer. @@bobbonaught so you think a performance model 3 and and a regular one have the same range eh?
@PaulTC97 Жыл бұрын
maybe AWD creates more friction which reduces range
@bobbonaught Жыл бұрын
@@mattbrew11 I should be more clear. I would trade some of the range for more horsepower, and usually larger batteries also come with larger motors.

Mid 300's certainly aren't anything to scoff at but I expected something closer to 400 based on the title. This has 9% more range than a model Y.

Agreed 100%

The 18 inch wheel version is closer to 400.

Well, it's not an SUV, like the Model Y and also doesn't have 9% more range than a Model 3 sedan, as the Ioniq 6 is a, sedan.

@@dvader3263 they use almost exactly the same sized battery (according to google search anyway), which is really why I'm surprised.

@@jimmypautz that's pretty great. Where did you find that info?
