READ THIS!! Despite the fact that he played against the second most HOF player at his position(only behind kareem and parish, which he played 7 years less than both) He PLAYED THE MOST TOTAL GAMES against another hof center….see list below lol (mind you these are their barefoot heights, in the modern NBA you would add 1-2 inches to their height, as players have been measured in their shoes only after 1977) C-Bill Russell: 6’10” HOF (143 games played in 9 seasons) C-Kareem Abdul Jabbar: 7'2" HOF(27 games played in 4 seasons) C-Willis Reed: 6,10” HOF(72 games played in 8 seasons) C-Walt Bellamy: 6'11" HOF(100 games played in 11 seasons) C-Artis Gilmore: 7'2" HOF C-Bob Lanier: 6'11" HOF(17 games played in 3 seasons) C-Nate Thurmond: 6'11" HOF(47 games played in 4 seasons) C-Bob McAdoo: 6’10” HOF (5 games played in 1 season) C-Elvin Hayes:6’9 “ HOF (22 games played in 4 seasons) (Wes Unseld is also a HOF center but he is 6’7) (26 times in 5 seasons) (Dave Cowens is also a HOF Center/Forward but he is 6”9)(17 games played in 3 seasons) (Connie Hawkins is also a HOF Forward/ center but he is 6”9)(31 games played in 4 seasons) (please note there are more HOF PF who guarded and were guarded by wilt chamberlain but the majority of them are 6’8 to 6’9) SO THATS 574 OUT OF 1045…WHICH TRANSLATES TO 54% OF WILTS GAMES BEING PLAYED AGAINST ANOTHER HOF CENTER…

Did he have to face against the 80s pistons Celtics or lakers? Did he have to face the warriors dynasty, spurs dynasty, Toronto dynasty, a really good okc team, a really good rockets team, and another Celtics dynasty? No, he really only faced one tough team and that’s about it. He’s not in the same conversation as Jordan or Lebron, and not even Larry and magic, stop being delusional

Im torn, Wilts rebounding is massively underappreciated, but I'm not sure it's more impressive in context. Other players could fight for the rebounding title. No one could touch his scoring. That he did both is the real miracle

Wilt averaged 27 rebounds per game his rookie season… never did he average under 20 (I don’t think and I’m too lazy to look it up again)
@Sir_1nuАй бұрын
The worse thing is people think Dennis Rodman is a better rebounder than Wilt.. But Wilt would average Dennis rebound in a game in a quarter... What people don't understand is that Wilt was not only a high jumper he was also has one of the longest wingspan and he used to grab rebounds 1-2 feet above the rim because despite being a 7 foot tall man he hustles for the ball like crazy and was never afraid of injuries

Wilt averaged 40 ppg for 515 consecutive games (6 consecutive seasons). Rank #2 in that category goes to Elgin Baylor with 33 consecutive games scoring 40 ppg average. Wilt also averaged 25 rpg for those 515 games. Jordan scored 50 or more in 31 games for career. Kobe did it 25 times for career. Wilt did it 45 times in a single season. Nobody except Wilt Chamberlain ever archieved a 30-20 season; he also did it for career. Wilt has 128 out of 147 30-30 games. That means the whole rest of the league any era combined has 19. He is the GOAT, and it is not even close. There is Wilt Chamberlain followed by a huge gap and then everone else.

Could you make an nba championship prediction video? The one you did before the playoffs was amazing
@manimal9871Ай бұрын
4:00 Kobe likely would have beaten the record, Phil Jackson sat him early and when John Salley asked him why he said “some records aren’t meant to be broken”. He also had a ridiculous game vs the Maverick’s 62 points in 3 quarters and Phil sat him out of the fourth quarter lol

The guy is seven and one half foot tall. If you make anyone that tall they are going to be bad ass at any sport. He has a whole foot on Most guys in the NBA. That is so much bigger then anyone else. He is a REAL GIANT amongst basic men. He is awesome becouse he is so tall and big. You can't compare him to anyone becouse there is no one to compare him with. If he was so great why didn't he play football or baseball? It's becouse he is not built for it. He is too tall. He would get hurt. To me he is a basic basketball player who is bigger then everyone Else and most people are to blind and stupid to see that.
