Wilt Chamberlain in 1962 ? 50,4 PPG 25,7 REBOUNDS 2,4 ASSISTS 10 games with 70+ points 100 points game ….. WHO IS JOKIC ?
@majestyzx908110 минут бұрын
39.5 FGA a game 53% TS percentage 4 APG. 41-39 record Lost in the divisional round. Stop it. Wilt was great, but he didn't win until he took a step back from dominating the ball. His first championship came because he drastically stepped back from ball dominance, helping his team greatly with very little roster change from his previous season. 14.2 PPG 68.3% FG percentage 63% TS. 24.1 PPG And a huge improvement in assists at 7.8 APG. 50 points on 40 shots isn't anything to write home about.

Curry carried KD and made it possible for him to be wide open or in single coverage. Curry has major gravity. Curry had a ring prior to KD and after KD. KD is just like LeBum.

You can't really say these players gave Wilts stats a run for their money. From 59-64 he averaged 40.5 Points per game and 25 rebounds per game.

Delusional clickbait to say greatest in nba history, what Jokic is doing is proving there are very few players in this league who give a shit primary example Joel embiid
@jahimuddin2306Сағат бұрын
I say they bring back hand checking and physical defense. That way only the best three point shooters are taking the shot and not everyone is. You have guys chucking them up at 36-percent; tough defense would pull those guys closer to the basket because their percentages would drop further.

Jokic glaze is actually absurd. Putting the advanced stat merchant ahead of seasons like '09 lebron and '91 jordan is actually hilarious.
@antoinedalens68592 сағат бұрын
Skill wise, Jokic might be the GOAT, but when it comes to achievements he is barely in top 10, unfortunately the goat conversation is more about achievements than skills cause the ultimate goal is making your team win.

I think it would be a lot more reasonable to use counting stats adjusted for pace. The 36 points per game MJ was scoring in that era are not equal to the points Harden was scoring in 2017-19.

Why is he sooooo boring to watch tho ? He’s great and all but that team is just a bore to watch in general it’s cool to use your high basketball IQ and to see it demonstrated but it really is just eh and a lot of basketball fans would agree

Jokic makes his former and current teammates stronger and play better with confidence. They do have a lot of respect and love for him as a best superstar player. Many precious superstars tend to be hated, insulted and disrespected by their own teammates due to their selfishness, stubbornness, unwillingness to listen to his coach and ego.
@martialartist39532 сағат бұрын
jokic averaging more points than shaq or kobe’s mvps is a product of era and pace. jokic is all time great but context needs to be added. kobe averaged 35 ppg when teams were averaging 95-97 points per night. jokic is averaging 29 while teams are averaging 114

You think Joki can score 50 points? Tonight
@timmyboi43312 сағат бұрын
And he doesn't even seem to be stat-padding. In fact, he has to put up those crazy numbers just for his team to win by 2-9 points in these last 10 games or so, and what's crazy is that the Nuggets are statistically one of the worst teams of all time when he's off the court.
@Schracid2 сағат бұрын
One of the reasons people stand for Jokić is his humble attitude. He is not one of those who's pushing in your face how his mom worked 578 jobs to raise him and his brothers, while their father was in prison or abandoned them. How he grew up in streets surrounded by gangs, and that same bullshit we were fed for decades about how tough life is.

I'm not really into bb that much but I wonder how many steps they get these days to the basket. Isn't 3 steps too many? I'm trying to remember. Do you get 4 or 5 if you make over a million dollars a game? Just wondering.

That's typical American. The prize is a personal prize, for the best player of the season. If a player is outstanding in so many disciplines and the other players on his team can't keep up, even though he serves them everything on a silver platter, then that's not his fault. The awarding of the MVP must not depend on this. The winner should not be the one who has the most luck because he happens to play in a good team. And when it comes to the goat discussion, the same applies. The number of rings must not be decisive for this. Because winning the championship also depends extremely on the performance of the fellow players.

The NBA awards are sooooooo sus, they can’t be taken at face value. Championships are not a good measure of a single person, it is a team award. Jokic is probably in the top 5 all time in talent and has a real chance at being in the goat discussion if he continues at this level. Goooo Joker!!!

Jokic is the most valuable player in basketball history. Michael Jordan is the greatest player of all time. Rings are reserved for history's finest teams. Jordan, Kobe, or any other player could not have won a championship without the support of so many outstanding players. Jokic did it all by himself.

jokic might end up over kareem. heres why: kareem is the greatest longevity merchant in nba history. he played in the singular weakest era (the aba had talent like george gervin and dr j) and overseas players didnt show up (arvidas sabonis vs kareem would be interesting) didnt average that many points, has only 2 titles from that era while being the standout best player, and played with two of the greatest point guards of all time. (oscar robertson and magic johnson) most of his accoplishments come from longevity or because the era was weak. mvps? george gervin couldve won some. dpoys? weak era. chips? carried by teammates. points all time? longevity. he doesnt have the peak that other players would have, and the reason he has so much stats is because he just played for longer. without context, his position as number 3 all time is guarenteed. but if you take into account everything ive said, hes somewhere around 8th. jokic could surpass him.
@Jiturra015 сағат бұрын
Lol people thought I was crazy when I said i thought Jokic has the highest peak (level vs the field) since MJ. I'm glad there's some metric that agrees with me

Not just because of my love for my country man, the things he is doing since the start of season can only be though of fantastic, amazing or marvelous, just to show how great he is doing so far, as a person who played NBA live and other NBA games since the start of the new millennium, even in games with I admit it using chet codes I had no wear near such numbers with players with a 99 rating, so you can say the man broke the game, being the biggest superstar without acting like one, just a simple easy going Sombor native who took the basketball world like a storm, and change it for ever. You go Joker, take home at least another ring or two and cement your place among the top 50 greatest players to handle a ball since the game was invented!!!
