Garden is looking good just needs some leaf lettuce. That way you can chop up the greens onions and lettuce together and then pour hot bacon grease over top of it. Goes great with fried fish, brown beans and cornbread.

My My grandmother used to make them potatoes like your your grandmom. I guess that's the German in US. This is Ray from Foley Alabama hey country cousin. Next time you fry your catfish get you some yellow mustard in a good beer you like to drink mix the mustard and beer together sort of like a pancake batter but not that thick just so that the mustard and beer sticks to the fish can I throw in plain cornmeal. Fry that when your fish float then sprinkle your seasoning on top of your fish and whatever seasoning you like just do it that way do it very lightly on both sides. And you will be impressed with the fish the way they come out. This is no German Southern way from Southeast Germany Dutch in swedish way. It is so good try it on that bass that bass will be so good. Anyway may God bless you everyday and that's all become great and successful in Jesus name I pray amen

Glad to see y'all taking time off to relax and have fun. I also watch Outdoors With The Morgan's and 2 videos back he showed his recipe mixture for his saw blade sawing pine. We all know pine sap will clog the blade up. After each pine log he sprays diesel fule on the the blade while moving and you can actually see the sap being removed. Check it out. Bless y'all.

Resembled some of the fishing and cooking days of my childhood in southeast Tennessee, catch 'em and cook 'em. We didn't fillet our fish though, we cooked them with the bone in. For the baby children, grown ups would pick out the bones before giving it to a young 'un, but you were expected to learn how to pull the meat off the bone with a whole fish pretty early in life.

I've eaten a lot of fried fish in my life also, and I've never used corn meal! We've always used just flour, but I definitely will try your style. I'm thinking it maybe has something to do with the colder water species versus your warmer water ones???
