Great guide! Thanks. I’m saving this and the Book Case video. I’m excited to start building them as soon as I can. Thanks for the inspiration. Taking the mystery out of the whole process really makes it a project to look forward to, instead of putting off.

That's a very nice dresser. Just this week, someone asked if I could build them a dresser. Do you mind if I borrow your design? Thank you Wes for sharing this video. You just boosted my confidence to build one.

Hey Wes, I enjoy your ceruse videos. Here's a challenge...cN you ceruse an oak dinette set including the chairs with spindles?? Do you accept this challenge?...lol I see the table you cerused but it was just the top. Chairs may he another challenge.
@WoodworkingWithWes8 ай бұрын
Yes...all parts of an oak dinette set, including the chairs, can be cerused. It takes a lot more work to do spindles but it can be done if someone (not me 😀) wants to accept the challenge!

Wes, do prefer the left tilt saw over a right?

Nice, I was wondering what the drawer-fronts are made of? I assume they are solid cherry rather than laminate because there is a significant radius on them that would have exposed the core, or are they edged laminate? Thanks

Wes, love the videos. I know in the night stand video you mention you got the rustic cherry veneer particle board from a local supplier but I can’t seem to find a source online for that. Can you give the name of the supplier so I can reach out and find out a brand? Thanks!

Hi...I use Famowood Wood Filler and it's available on Amazon. Thanks for watching, Wes

I like your methods. This looks like cherry faced particleboard instead of cherry plywood. Where did you purchase the panels.

I purchased it from a hardwood wholesale outlet. I was only able to get the rustic cherry veneer with a particle board core...I would have preferred ply but it was unavailable. Thanks, Wes

wouldnt it be good idea to use 45.5 degree for the carcass panels?....leave room for glue and face on the outside is tight and crisp overcut outside corners and under cut inside corners
@WoodworkingWithWes2 күн бұрын
Hi...I understand what you are referring to, but it's not the choice I would make. Thanks for watching, Wes

Baltic birch for the drawers, and cheap particleboard for the main body, am i the only one thinking this is backwards.
@shortaybrown8 ай бұрын
This is hardwood veneer so it looks nicer than birch plywood. Birch ply has an IKEA look , or industrial look, even when stained. It looks cheaper. This way is better because it looks like real hardwood. Birch ply is stronger of course, but strength isn’t paramount in a dresser. I think white melamine inside drawers would be acceptable too, and less expensive.

I enjoy watcing your videos with lots of useful information. A little disappointed with the materials you chose to use 😕

not sure how particle core and import plywood drawers with 1/4 mdf back would be considered high end materials......
