Native Delawarean here, and Rehoboth Beach local. Your video did a nice job showcasing the Delaware beaches, it's such a great place to visit (and live)! Cape Henlopen State Park is a gem - glad you got to stay and experience. Our ocean isn't usually that rough, you must have caught it on a stormy day!

The cypress swamp looked magical! I always thought Delaware was packed with people but this shows another side. Very nice.

It's the least populated state! It was surprisingly rural and beautiful.

As Baltimore area RVers we love the Delaware state parks since they are open year round. We typically go to Henlopen in early December as a last trip to winterize and love to head back in February for some cold weather camping.

Nice! 🙂 I didn't realize so many areas nearby closed down

Yes, been to Lums pond and Cape Henlopen. Like them both. Thanks for taking us to Trap pond state park. Haven't been there yet. We're in PA about 4 hours from there. You showed more in 15 mins than what we've seen in all our times we've been there. Thanks!

This was a GREAT video. THANK YOU! We have 6 States left to complete our bucket list of having done something as a couple in every State. We have 5 in the upper west (Montana thru Oregon areas) and Delaware. Amusingly we live just outside Wash. DC. But our rule is we have to stay at least 24 hrs and do a specific thing in each State, not just pass thru. We’ve been THRU Delaware several times, but never had the time to explore. So we are saving the first State as our last. Now we have a great list of destinations other than just the tourist madness of Rehoboth for our last State. Safe journeys and well done.

Wow, you are in our backyard now!! CHSP is awesome and almost impossible in the summer. We’ve put 1000’s of miles on the Junction Breakwater Trail as well as American Discovery Trail. Too bad you didnt have a meet up, we could have shown you around a little more….but you hit the tourist spots, we can show you the hidden gems. Gad you enjoyed the First State…but don’t tell anyone else…it’s already too crowded.

Hi Folks , Delaware State Motto is Liberty And Independence. 🇺🇸 Not quite as catchy as New Hampshire " Live Free Or Die " 😂. But Delaware is rich in history . Delaware was the first to ratify the U.S. Constitution and thus became known as the “First State.” I'm a fact nerd 🤓 lol. Enjoy your journey. Always great to see you guys 😁. P.S. the spider on the tree , if he lands on my paddle board then you will see a grown man walking on water ! Lol ...

Lemme know if you need some real NY advice before you get up here. I can hopefully help you stay away from the tourist traps. Safe travels.

Thanks for the offer. We are tourists haha so *some* tourist traps are applicable! We visited back in mid-August and are now in Canada though. Hopefully, when you tune in you feel we did a good job 😄
