@DavidKD205014 күн бұрын
@ can’t remember, but the fairer among you was doing the review. It goes without saying that there have been many conversations regarding structure and style. What a successful formula looks like. Focusing on this episode only, I understand many of the complaints, less than enthusiastic comments. It was a very strange episode full of the most eclectic disjointed bikes imaginable. Not a good fit for any demographic. A dog’s breakfast to be honest. I read the reasoning, we reviewed what we could get our legs over. Regardless, I didn’t work, like really really didn’t work. Personally I have watched several hundred reviews this year and never one of your beloved Ducati devil 😈. And to hold it seemingly bosom to bosom, with a single cylinder 450 is, well it is creepy. A few ideas 💡: you can’t access as many manufacturers as you want? Stuffem, review the hell out of those who will work with you. And buy some long term bikes, 6 months reviews are often good. Work closely with a dealership if possible. Promote each other. Feature their bikes, new and second hand.

Fun list! Of the ones you listed I'd get the XSR 900GP first. Though since we don't get that in North America I'd get the MT-09 since it's the next best middleweight triple after the Street Triple. Then, it would probably be the Diavel. Ugly as it is I wouldn't care while riding it. Being a tight arse myself, and a lover of riding a slow bike fast, the Geurilla 450 was definitely the pick for me this year. And if it wasn't for the ridiculous run out pricing on the old Svartpilen 401 I'd have one in my garage right now. Especially in that Yellow Ribbon colourway.

@@BikerTorque Brava Blue is the standout in the photo's, but the Yellow Ribbon looks better IRL IMO. The Svartpilen is a quick & agile ride once you've scrubbed in the tyres. It's perfect for my daily rat run through inner south western Sydney. But you need to have evacuated your bowels before you ride. If there's anything left in there the vibrations from the bike will definitely let you know about it. And I need to have a chat to my local concreter about pouring me a more comfortable seat. Surprising comment. The panel loved some of the Japanese bikes. The quality and reliability of Royal Enfield has improved out of sight in recent years and is now the equal of anything from Japan. Most likely it’s due to the huge money injection from Polaris (I think) to update production to world’s best practice. Twenty years ago Royal Enfields had poor metallurgy, poor quality and were unreliable. Not anymore. In my opinion REs are still too heavy for what they are. BMWs have a lot of recalls for their price. Ducatis have always shown Italian flair and style not necessarily to everyone’s taste but pretty stunning nevertheless. PS I like Harleys and Indians, too.
