11:18 with guys like that it helps to throw in a rhythm break by hitting the ball as it falls instead of right after the bounce everytime. I myself have learned to try not to go on the first bounce to try to counter chasers so that’s likely why he plays like that

Wow! Great news that your game now runs smoother! I felt that your gameplay radically changed once you've fixed the issue. I'd never suspect the First Person Shooter not being on Xbox 360 to be the culprit. At 18:17, I've genuinely misheard "save mana" instead of "safe manner". xD As always thanks for your enthusiastic video! :) Cheers!

Thank you! Unfortunately later on I needed to turn it down as it started glitching again. Really appreciate the support! Haha save mana reminds me of the old diablo 2 days 🤣

I heard a good rule of thumb that you should try to 2xHz in your fps for super comp games. Similar to shutter speed on cameras :)
@AirChargedGaming24 күн бұрын
Interesting stuff to read. Can you give me an example of how to do this as would that mean to have a 240hz monitor and use 120fps?
@vancityr648524 күн бұрын
@AirChargedGaming (edited for clarification) no, the other way. If you have 144hz, you'd ideally be at 288fps+

the 360 fps thing is something some GC player told me to do. I don't know what it does but my 1% lows went from 10fps to 35fps. Not good but much better than the stutter issues I already had. Also I don't know what it is, but low boost offensive play really carried me from p2 to d1 in 1v1. I'm sure players won't panic as much in higher ranks but it just forces players to mess up heaps in my games. It's not no boost for me but I'll aggressive shadow or look for a beat on a single pad and it works super often. Probably gives more goals than when I get space with the ball with my skill set.

That's fascinating to know, thank you for the message I'll certainly look into that 💪😁

To me it looks as though the jump is made too close the ball on kickoff. Would be curious to see what happens to the ball in a replay at 5% speed using free cam. Also your minimum FPS (1% low) should be at least double your monitor’s refresh rate for the smoothest possible experience. Uncapped is the best option for input latency and smoothness as long as the game isn’t GPU limited.

You conceded the first 2 goals from the same things as before. Rushing back to boost, holding backboard, then get a free shot in open space.

@@AirChargedGaming I will count every single time someone scores when you leave the ball to go for boost giving them space. 2) go to back corner boost and back wall, giving them free shot. I noticed in 1s games I watched pros stay on the floor more often and challenge as late as possible.
@AirChargedGaming24 күн бұрын
@glyntaylor-williams3593 nice one! Do they do that even if they lose the kickoff?
@glyntaylor-williams359324 күн бұрын
@@AirChargedGaming too many variables and situations. If you win kickoff and mid boost. You can move faster and free air dribble. So nothing the loser can do apart from pick up pads while heading back and be ready to defend. - Win, direct goal, score - loss direct goal, concede - Fake gain possession. - Fake lose possession Those are the only controllable situations. For example dark can turn winning a fake kickoff from his back corner into a goal, he can convert free space into 10 different attacking options depending on what the other player does.
@glyntaylor-williams359324 күн бұрын
It will probably be easier to perfect a wave dash kickoff too. More room for error.

Its your speed flip, go to musty speed flip training pack and see how often your doing a proper speed flip. If its not 9 out of 10 times, your not even doing a speed flip in game.
@reid485227 күн бұрын
Musty said it years ago, if you can't do it consistently, it's worse than a regular diagonal flip kickoff.
@reid485227 күн бұрын
Yeah I'm watching this more and you not speed flipping at all.
@AirChargedGaming27 күн бұрын
I can promise that I am speed flipping and can easily do Mustys pack 9 out of 10 I think the issue is the timing of the speed flip initiation though. Or because I use an air roll speed flip which is enough to do the Musty pack but slower than a 1.30 o clock speed flip. Appreciate the feedback 💪😁

Play 1s. Casual. And concede or score heaps of goals so you can reset. Or use an AI trainer.

Can I be honest? It's fun watching you play 1s sometimes, but for me, I've enjoyed watching your channel when you're mostly dominating. Your play style seems to be really effective in 2s. So all I'm saying is, maybe you can upload and alternate 2s and 1s (or 3s), instead of just going on a heavy focus on 1s. I'm not just trying to be selfish, I think your viewership might suffer if you keep uploading videos where you're not getting as many game wins. I mean if I want to watch someone lose at Rocket League, I don't need to go to KZbin for that. I hope that makes sense. Love the channel!
@_melts27 күн бұрын
I quite like these tbh, I'm only plat in 1s and don't play it often so I feel like there's a lot to emulate and learn here. Most people uploading 1s videos are pros and it's hard to take away things from their vids I can actually use because they're so far ahead of where I am. I do agree they're not as entertaining as the 2s series and I miss it but I think that's just cause 1s is a less exciting game personally.
@dynamic_shortage653227 күн бұрын
While I do enjoy the 2s series better, I completely disagree with everything in this comment. I think these ones games are extremely valuable. Even when he loses he knows and points out the exact mistakes he’s making. It’s generally a failure to execute what he is trying to do. If anything it’s more realistic to watch this series
