Why would you compare SoFI and Palantir. There’s no meaningful comparison, it’s apples to oranges. I think Noto is getting frustrated because nothing he does or says moves the stock price up and he has a huge bonus tied to the stock price. Wall Street is still dead set against SoFI.

I think Mr. Noto was referring to SOFI's business cycle and not the Economic cycle. He is saying that Lending is becoming less and less important to overall revenue and they can increase or decrease the amount and quality of loans held based on Macro. Sure, a recession has yet to be tested, but they turned down 80% of people requesting loans and still grew that segment when they were thinking a recession was possible. The recession may not have occurred and provided the test, but it does look like they showed how they are ready when/if it comes.

It's also not a good idea to flip a coin where if you win you get $10 if they win they get $100. If you happen to take the bet and win, it was still an objectively incorrect decision. PLTR is overvalued by its own CEO and analyst expectations by about 100%

It's slightly overvalued right now but with it's trajectory yes it's still a buy but not a go all in buy. I'm continuing my DCA and selling puts at a .20 - .25 delta like the NOV 22 $10.50 strike at .24 delta for a $21 premium.

​@@txguy1973 If you think Sofi is overvalued, compare it to Nubank and other similar companies ... Only if you think Sofi is just another bank like so many others, Sofi isn't dirt cheap. The stock should imo be up at $14 to $16 now, also because even management's positive guidance in fact proves to be very conservative. Through next year Sofi stock could easily double (if not triple) from $11.
