I just love your videos… just a tip from this old lady… don’t throw away your cotton pads as soon as you cleanse your face with makeup remover … wipe your counter top with it to remove makeup residue or if you can’t wash your brushes right away, wipe your brush with it and voila! When I want to recreate a look that I would like to try , I always look at my collection, and I use the alternative cosmetics that I have based on the color. And they turn out to be beautiful. So is not needed to have always dupues when we can have treasures in our collection. So please please, more videos like this . I ❤❤❤it!

the undone blush looks much better! i appreciate how you don't go ham on concealer. i don't watch many mua's anymore, but there are a few and they just paint that concealer under their eyes! i mean, just give them a paint roller!! no wonder they have issues with creasing that has to be powdered down. you are also one of the few channels that i watch almost all of your videos. thanks for your efforts!

Im going to pick up those Elf brow pencils. I think I will get several colors to find my perfect match. I’m travelling with friends and family for two weeks so I am going through my makeup to find products to rehome. So many products that are the wrong tone or shade or finish for me. This was great. I'm not a fan of dupes videos either because it's usually disappointing, in my experience. I like a product for what it is, not because it's a dupe. I tried the Teint Idole foundation for the first time when it was on sale a few months ago (it's been reformulated), and it's a wonderful product. I'm sorry I didn't try it sooner. I'm 64 with dry skin and foundation can be tricky at this age. A lot of foundations settle around my nose and looks dry. For me, the formula is more important than the price, or if it's a dupe. The takeaway from this, is that you can make anything look good, regardless of price, as long as it performs well, and no one knows what's on your face. Well done, Zabrena. Looking forward to more of these videos.

Ever since you reviewed the old Color Icon 10 eyeshadow palettes from Wet n Wild - My Glamour Squad being the one I own - I have not bought any more eyeshadow palettes. It has all the colors I really enjoy wearing, and like you said, they're so pigmented. I love that it is possible for makeup to look flawless with drugstore products. Love these videos.

Some drugstore products are a kick in the pants. I was contemplating a new NYX primer that is $30 Canadian lol. What I value with some high end products is if you can buy a smaller version to see if you like it. I do that with perfume now too because I've had enough go to the cosmetic graveyard and have their feelings hurt.

I'm more interested too in recreating a look for less. Agree it can be done without having to find a dupe, more like focusing on color match or alternative vs exact dupe. Blankety is also my favorite everyday lip color and it pulls more pink on me. I was suprised to see it a peachy brown on you, very interesting

Personally, most of the time when I am looking for a dupe? It’s for a specific shade or finish of an expensive eyeshadow that I’ve completely used. Most of the time- if it looks very similar- even that doesn’t need to be exact! I love the idea of a similar look versus a dupe ❤🙏

It's funny that you showed that Essence powder foundation paired with the Essence powder foundation. I was going to comment before I saw you pull that Essence powder foundation out that I love that combo. I always use that Essence powder foundation with that Covergirl foundation. I've worn that combo in 90 degree weather and it lasts all day! 😊 It's beautiful beautiful! Thanks for the video!

Zabrena, you are so clever!! I stopped buying high end makeup three years ago. The drugstore has so many high quality products now that I don't miss spending $20-$30 for a blush etc. I still get compliments on my makeup! I have also don't this with skincare, and at 60, my skin is still wrinkle free!! So yes, please do more of these videos!!!

That Wet and Wild palette is really good...I have a fair amount of drugstore makeup, but a lot of times now I end up buying high end because the drugstore prices have gotten so crazy. My favorite drugstore items lately are the NYX lift and snatch brow pens, NYX lip pencil ( in Natural) Loreal telescopic mascara, ELF lipstick (in Dirty Talk) and ELF holy hydration cleansing balm for removing eye makeup.

I have dry skin and own both of those foundations, and I actually dont like the Lancome, it looks dry on me, cracks, and doesn't last well (the older formula) I never reach for it, but I LOVE the Covergirl! Lasts all day, better coverage, and no issues with it looking dry, and emphasizing texture.

Love yout Zabrena! Would you consider doing a video or two on one stop beauty brands. For instance, when I'm running out of something I seem to run out of several things at once. Last time I went to ELF's site and got everything I needed. I know I could shop their site all the way from primer to setting spray. I've also doneso with Flower Beauty (PS I was pleased with EVERYTHING). Any other brands you can recommend to do this with? Would love to see you put together a full face of won't let you down products from some I haven;t thought of.
