I cant wait to be able to go to visit Uzbekistan... I was wondering, i know they love meat over there how easy/difficult was it to get Vegan food??just a concern as my daughter & i are veg and struggle with health/disable issues...i just wanna be prepared so thank you if you have any tips•••☺ Sabrina&RubyTuesday 🇨🇵🇬🇧
@OskarandDan3 жыл бұрын
Hey guys! It’s definitely one of the more difficult places we’ve been since going vegan. If you’re vegetarian you’ll be fine though as the most difficult part is avoiding all the milk, cheese, and butter. The concept of vegetarianism is not entirely understood though ie you’ll have to specify that the pilaf can’t be cooked in the same meat broth as the rest etc. Happy Cow works well in Tashkent and reasonably ok in Samarkand and Bukhara :) Best of luck!

@@OskarandDan Cheers priceless tips and suggestions 👌 we are vegetarians for now... So many countries still dont fully comprehend...last week alone staying in a fancy hotel in Lisbon i wanted to have diner at the hotel...i ask at the restaurant 😫 for veg options... "We have fish "🙄 the waiter replied🙏 so We left not even trying to explain booking an uber asap to a vegan place we love before it closes (curfew due to covid obliged) I ll have to be fully ready and prepared prior my visit for Uzbekistan thats all😊

it's a conservative state. You will need to stay content and not to express your "gayness" too much. Basically respect the local culture, which does not favor LGBT culture, othern than that you should be fine.
