You WON'T Believe this is Jakarta! I thought it was Singapore 🇮🇩

Modern Jakarta was really not what I expected! This is my first time in Jakarta and I was really excited to be here! I couldn't believe this is Jakarta, I thought it was Singapore.
I started my journey off in the Kuningan area and made my way along the clean, green and modern streets of Jakarta to the MRT station.
Along the way to the station I noticed lots of political banners and posters on the streets. I think their must be some kind of presidential campaign going on in Jakarta at the moment.
I then traveled on Jakarta's very convenient metro system to Istora Mandiri so we could check out the SCBD area. Sudirman central business district.
My first impressions of the metro was that it was super clean and modern and it was really cool.
Once I arrived at Istora Mandiri it was super busy with lots of people. Many of them were very friendly and saying hello to the camera and me.
I then made my way into the insanely modern and luxury shopping mall called Pacific Place mall.
Upon my arrival there were a Chinese new year celebration ceromony taking place. It was great!
I've never seen such a huge looking beautiful mall, it was really quite shocking. It's what I expected to see in Jakarta at all.
After that I managed to find some delicious Indonesian food inside the Ashta mall at a restaurant called Semesta.
I had one of probably the best meals I ever had in Indonesia so far, it was really great.
I had a Lemon cui kiamboy Kawanua drink, beef sate, sei sapi and nasi goreng. I really enjoyed the bacon kind of meat and the nasi goreng was delicious!
After than huge meal I was really full, but there was only one logical next step and that was JCO donuts!
These JCO donuts were really good, much better than Krispy Kreme.After a donut feast I made my way down to the gym and pool to try and burn off some of those calories.
My journey in Jakarta is just beginning and I really excited to explore this amazing city.

And since you love burgers I recommend Burger Bangor chain( even better than McDonald's and Burger King haha) For coffee I recommend Kopi Kenangan shops ( the best coffee chain in Indonesia haha) And for places to visit I recommend Kota Tua (the old town), Glodok (Chinatown) where you can try some Chinese Indonesian cuisine such as Bakmi. Jason, the SCBD area is a showcase of Jakarta. At the other part of Jakarta, there are some unfriendly sidewalks. LRT and MRT is still limited available around business areas. Hope there will be more route in the future. You are lucky come to Jakarta in this decade. Enjoy Indonesia! Explore another areas and cities.

Well it's actually pronounced 'combro' which means 'oncom di jero' in sundanese language, one of our regional languages. In Indonesian it means 'oncom di dalam'. Oncom is a traditional Indonesian product that is fermented with mold. The base of every oncom is prepared with various by-products such as soy pulp, peanut and coconut press cake, or cassava tailings that are fermented with two types of mold to create red and black oncom varieties. what an exciting journey bro...help answer bro...in Indonesia there is a democratic party for elections for district, provincial councils and presidential elections...so throughout Indonesia there are lots of photo banners of council candidates and presidential candidates and the flags are party flags...next you I met a lot of people, there was a campaign for one of the presidential candidates... oh yes, the handle on the train was called hand strap...

Btw, if u really like coffee, consider u to try our local coffee like kopi kenangan (memory coffee), point coffee by indomaret etc, Indonesia has a lot of good coffee.. and honestly, paying IDR 390k only for 1 person is quite pricey for local, hihi.. try nasi padang then, one of our signature dishes from West Sumatra, Indonesia, our beef rendang has become the #1 food on CNN

Oh ya, if u want to try Nasi Padang (Padang Rice) you can go to Pagi Sore or Sederhana Restaurant.. go there and have a table, no need to order anything (except any beverage), don't panic if they deserve you sooo many plate of dishes.. you just pay what u touch and eat. Beef rendang and ayam pop (pop chicken) is on the top list (my opinion, wkwkwk).. get the rice on ur plate, took the gravy + cassava leaf + sambal (chilli) and any meat you like, mix them all, Heaven!! Apologize if I wrote too much 🙏😁
