Or you can take a boat to kepulauan seribu. PIK is an artificial beach since the island itself was made from reclamation. Kepulauan seribu is much more natural, you wont believe it is still part of jakarta

After the Prayer Garden of the Most Sacred Heart of Mary in La Riviera was visited by enthusiastic Catholics, PIK2 will present the Our Lady of Akita Prayer Garden, which was inspired by the Seitai Hoshikai Church Prayer Garden by carrying the concept of Japanese architecture. Just a little advice, if you want to travel in the Jakarta Pik 2 area, it's better in the afternoon, the sunset there will look better, local people and tourists usually prefer to walk there in the afternoon. In the afternoon it will be hot because it's near the sea. 😌

oh btw, for your information, pantai indah kapuk 2 (PIK 2) is an independent city which currently has the size wide of approximately 6000 hectar. 6000 hectar land for independent city of PIK 2 and it's not certain A.K.A these independent city can be extended anytime by the PIK 2 company. And these city is still on development (not 100% fully finished yet), it takes a couple years ahead but indeed some areas of PIK 2 have been opened and can be visited by public.

Hi there... PIK is an acronym for Pantai Indah Kapuk. Pantai means beach. But for PIK2, it is NOT in Jakarta. PIK2 is actually a man-made island, and the long bridge that crossed was the only bridge that connect the island to the Jakarta. So, naturally, PIK2 is surrounded by sea since it is a small island. It is still under construction, like a few other man-made islands that surrounds Jakarta.

I also saw a Javanese buying property in their island when they held an exhibition at about 2016 I think, or 2015. I remember it because that Mr Hajj bought 8 apartments. He said it was for his investment. Mr Hotman Paris also has a few stores there. And he obviously not a Chinese.

PIK is Pantai Indah Kapuk or Kapuk Beautiful Beach PIK Jakarta (Pantai Indah Kapuk) is a famous housing estate in Northern Jakarta.
