I just love looking at those kids... The new generation of Indonesia is definitely different from the previous ones. They are the country's game-changer and opened to learning English. They're actually assets to Indonesia and the offshoot bounds to be astounding in a near future, just in a few years from now. Well done Indonesia. Love from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. ❤️

It's a common now accross country. We observed that Indonesians, by nature, are polyglots across cities where the top 5 races are as big as population of another country. What we appreciate about them is their nationalism - promoting locals while adopting a global perspective. Anyone living in Indonesia will feel at home by speaking One Language - Bahasa Indonesia whatever your race.
@eltercalpar Жыл бұрын
actually indonesians are polyglot by its nature, most of us at least can understand 3-5 languanges (3 are certain; bahasa, malay and their native) since our country consist of multi cultural and also multi lingual, learning english is not hard for us if we have the will, especially for younger generation
@bobamochi2679 Жыл бұрын
@@eltercalpar I think the point the commenter is trying to make about the generation is the fact young kids are more open-minded to the idea of speaking in English. There are still a lot of Indonesians, esp the old gen, who will judge others who speak in English as if they are less patriotic just bc of that. These people really act as if we betray the country or something so it's good to see these kids speaking in English confidently. While I agree that it's important to preserve local languages, but it's also as beneficial to learn a language as widely used as English so a balance between the two is important
