The species of bat seen roosting in the warthog burrows is likely to be The Egyptian slit-faced bat (Nycteris thebaica). They commonly roost in culverts and large burrow systems and are commonly distributed throughout the area.

Hi Villiers, awesome capture with the trail cameras. A hyena stole ours at Polentswa in April this year. We need to replace it. Please can you tell me what brand yours are, where we can get them from and the price. Love your videos.

@@RoseDouglasTravelwithUsExplore , oh no! 😝 These are Campark TC02 units, but they are sold as NewTech trail cameras on Take-a-Lot. They’re about R3300 without mini SD card.

@TheSafariExpert thx so much. This was the second time. The lions stole the same camera and it's stake in the ground at Mabua but we got it back that time.

I just ordered a Campark TC02 likes yours from Campark directly. Cheaper than buying it from Takealot.

Stay away from ordering directly from Campark, rather order through Takealot and they are on special at the moment.

What a great video. Residents, particularly with small kids, must be concerned with a leopard wandering around. By the way, what trail camera are you using - particularly the solar one. Previous equipment list took you to Amazon but that showed not available. Wasn’t a solar trail cam though.
