Karin & I have been following that limping spotted hyena for years. Even before it was injured somehow. He is one of our favs. We call him Mo. WE have seen Mo in a wide range of areas including Pridelands and all the way up at the Olifants River.

I was actually doing some research a few months ago on wildlife estates near Kruger and came across The Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate. I’d love to find out more.

Thank you for the video Villiers. Very nicely put together. I spent a 2022, then a break of a year, then the first 6 months of this year, in and around the Kruger park. Now in SE Asia... and missing Africa. I will be back again shortly.

Great porcupine footage. You seldom get a good look them. Have you seen porcupines mating before? Letting us sponsor a trail cam was a great idea. The more the better.

What an amazing place this must be and would be to live...if only I suppose. Are you able to put up your trail cameras wherever you'd like in these places like the dams and trails?

Hey Villiers, it's Henning again. If I'm not wrong you've published another video where you presented the wildlife estate including the accommodations, is that right? I cannot find it - could you post the link to that video pls? I am planning our holidays in July 2025 and I am looking for a stopover on our way from Sabie to Pafuri. I thought it might be a good idea to spend one relaxing night at hoedspruit wildlife estate? Thanks in advance! Best regards, Henning

@@hencam, no, sorry - I haven’t made one about the accommdation of HWE - I’ve only mentioned Africa House in the 3 episodes of The Wildlife Estate Diaries.
