Jojo Siwa is a child friendly vlogger that got her start off of Dance Mom's.
Grew a massive audience on Musical.ly (Which is now known as TikTok)
And from there she pretty much became the largest child socialmedia influencer and she's only 16. So no doubt that Jojo Siwa is doing extremely well. It's a little unclear if the tickets I found on her are re-sale tickets. Neither the less It's very impressive both the fact that Jojo Siwa can get people to pay $5000 dollars to see her but also the fact that people would pay $5000 dollars to see Jojo Siwa.

My boyfriend and I went to see Game Grumps for his birthday on Aug. 18th. Both of our tickets together were about $70 for 1st row seating on the top balcony. In comparison to jojo it might seem like nothing, however she is an anomaly because it is in no way common for people to charge 5 grand for a show like that. By 'comparing it to others' I could decide to charge people 500 to watch me eat a bag of chips, but by your logic that wouldn't be too bad because other people charge way more for their projects. The reason people are mad at James is because the tickets do not need to be that price at all and it is a moneygrab plain and simple, however he's condescending to his audience by pretending that he's doing it all for them and it's for 'fun' when it's more likely just a way to line his pockets. Nothing wrong with that, but he should at least be honest with his audience instead of lying to them about why the price is what it is. He has a new damn controversy every week and people are sick of him fucking up, giving an empty apology, then fucking up again and again.

@@jennabug5059 I'm aware that he changed the perks but some people still don't believe that those additions make the ticket worth $500. He also only did this because he was facing backlash, not out of the goodness of his heart like he would have everyone believe. He did this before with the merch that he was only giving to people that had already bought merch. He was perfectly happy to allow that situation to happen right up until people started to complain, then suddenly he was so sorry and was doing everything he could to fix it and he supposedly didn't even agree with the idea from the beginning. He is perfectly happy taking advantage of his fans, but once the backlash comes in he starts to backpedal instead of owning his shit like an adult. To be honest he doesn't even have a reason to change his childish ways because be knows he can have all the scandals he wants and it will increase his profits and bring him attention, then he can offer a half assed apology and everyone will forget about it. Then he repeats the process in a few weeks.
