That dude looks more like a vampire than a wood elf, the way you painted it. Between your painting and Scott's sculpting design, he wouldn't be out of place in Jim Butcher's Dresden Files universe, I think. Someday I will be as good as you are at painting in general!

Love this video, I've watched miniac kickstarter videos on the three figures , so was great to see someone else paint the figures in a different style , you did a great job. Please keep your videos coming, I'm subscribed to you miniac and ninjon , you make me and help me to be better, must say I started on planes now figures are in my to paint skill , I'm deep in the rabbit hole lol.

First off, great job! I know I couldn't do any better. That being said, as an artist I would say that a model like this is crying out for some sort of tribal tattooing. With so much skin available, you have a perfect canvas to add detail in whatever form you could imagine. Keep up the amazing work, both of you!

Thank you for using the metallic paints and talking about your thought process concerning nmm. It reminded me that I'm just a beginner, and that if you are still using metallic paints, even though you are considerably more skilled, and have been doing this for a lot longer than me, then it should be fine for me to use metallic paints and stop being such a try hard perfectionist all the time.

Nice paint job! For the metallics, you could have either mixed a color with the metallic, or applied something like a contrast paint.

Looks amazing mate. Well done! Is the cast quite rough or are the dimples left by the airbrush ? It looks a bit sand papery with the finish on the model.

Awsome painting and basing job. It would be interesting to know if a few light coats of a "filling " primer like Mr. Surfacer 1500 of Tamiya spray would tone down the visible print marks from the master model. In 75mm these are visible.

I am quite surprised at the amount of mold lines and the layer lines. I suppose there were layers lines on the model when the mold was created. I've just never seen BOTH mold line and layer lines in such a premium mini.

The models aren't fully finalized yet. Still have to walk through each model and clean up some areas. Casey and all the youtubers got advance copies of the models that still have some of these issues! Good catch :)
