I was fortunate enough to meet the owner, Paul Clark, on the Thursday morning of the event. I am a big Jeff Gordon fan, so we both fanboy’d over him for 10 minutes while chatting about the car, that he has not long owned! The car is in stunning condition. I am always impressed when I have seen any of Jeff’s cars at Goodwood, including this one. It’s an attack on the senses when you see and hear these cars, so I can fully understand your feelings after completing your run. Great video! 👍

That was awesome! I could almost feel your emotions all the way here, across the pond. Especially as a fan who watched Jeff Gordon from when he started his career in NASCAR Winston Cup! I once did a ride along in a Dale Earnhardt car (the driver that I followed the most) at speed up to 150mph at the Disney Raceway! Quite an experience… but nothing like what you did at Goodwood! Pete, I’ve been to many NASCAR races at Richmond through the years. It’s a sight to behold for sure. What I could relate to was the adrenaline rush at the end. I have sat in my race car at the end of a session shaking as you did. That is a big challenge. They are very digital (on or off and not much in between) and don’t like being slipped. It’s also very expensive to replace them. No pressure then 😂😂😂
