The parking team are doing a silly thing in staying next to car they want to impound by staying near it. They are only advertising to any passer-by what is going to happen, that person could contact the owner. Better to move a small distance away and pretend to be interested in another car.

Police in Britain need way better weapons. Having to sign out pepper spray is patently absurd at best. They should all be carrying guns. Especially with all the knife crime going on now. It’s ridiculous police don’t have the means to defend themselves

You HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT, why am I NOT surprised. Because of the STRICT FIREARM LAWS CROOKS RARELY HAVE GUNS. Ask the average Brit and they do NOT WANT GUNS, NEITHER DO THE POLICE. As a consequence the gun violence stats are a fraction of the USA or even Canada.

When it comes to impounding vehicles police departments should have their own tow truck/ car haulers.

Why? It is cheaper to subcontract the job. How many tow trucks do you think a large metropolitan area like Greater London would need? The taxpayers would have to pay for the vehicles their maintenance repair insurance and would have to employ drivers and maintenance personnel.
