I accidentally discovered this while walking up a volcano. If I curled my thumbs and held the tip of my tongue to the the roof of my mouth, then I could run uphill without tiring. I was in steel toed boots and baggy jeans, carrying a hip bag of books and water that day. I'm not a distance runner, but my body just fell into that position as I had been focused on each next step, the ground, my breath, my rhythm. suddenly I had to run. Had to. Went right to the top and wasn't tired. I didn't want to stop. I was in a zen zone. There was a nice waterfall there though. Good times.

I subconsciously do some of these symbols when I find I need to lock-in and focus, usually when trying to manifest my thought into words. When I really need to describe a deep concept I’ll sometimes sit up straight, put my hands together, and close my eyes. I feel a rush of clarity in my mind and the pathway I need to use to convert my thoughts into words is clearer. Its quite amazing how some of this comes instinctively to us. There so much knowledge within our subconscious awareness.

What’s crazy is that the focus one, the creativity one, and the release negative energy one, I’ve done them unconsciously before throughout my life and they had those effects, never gave it much thought as to how they had those effects, in fact I thought it was me simply becoming more focused, or thinking outside the box or relaxing and calming down after being upset..but didn’t give it much thought that I was doing the same gestures for each, each time. Another trick is to pull yourself into the present moment. Take a deep breath in, slow exhale. Name 3 things you can see at that moment. 3 things you can hear at that moment. 3 things you can physically touch, and actually go and touch them. This technique makes you focus on your immediate environment which brings you back to the present moment. I was always told that if you suffer from depression then you are living in the past. If you have anxiety then you are living in the future. And if you live in the present- you will be at peace. For a little added benefit, walking barefoot on mother earth through grass or her dirt will help to realign the electrical system in the body.

I have always had a inherent belief that the reason humans were taught to get on their knees to "pray" is to ground their energy. Told to put their hands together in front of their foreheads and complete a bioelectrical circuit, where the unseen demonic creatures can feed. People beg in the exact same way, on their knees, hands clasped in front of them offering their energy in payment for help? Maybe my instincts are correct after all. The same spring cannot bring forth both bitter and sweet water. I was in Catholic church, not by choice, at a young age and all those sad, lamenting looking statues intrigued me. The bloody figure on that huge cross, was not the holiest of visions to say the least. Watching them drink blood from a virgin and dried semen crackers didn't help the situation. I learned to read at a very young age, and so I read my mother's bible. No Jesus section first thing I discovered. Not much love in that book I thought after. Mostly Everybody will disobey mostly every commandment. What a Very user unfriendly and contradictory sacrificial place my mother was taking me to, I thought, me being a thinker and not a sheep for the shepard I wanted no part of it but had no choice.

Mudras happen spontaneously post kundalini awakening with pranayama as the nadis systematically clear. You are observing the channels being cleared and unified for the indwelling consciousness of God. You are a living temple and yoga is the means of realization. Mudras apart from Kundalini Shakti/the Holy Spirit will have little effect.

Yoga, mediation, mudras, mantras and self reflection are all powerful tools that have been used for centuries as a means for learning how to operate these carbon vehicles in which we reside. That said, I would agree that this knowledge has been used in many cases to lord over others without knowledge of who they are and the power they possess. Knowing how to operate these avatars isn't bad or evil, in fact it is necessary for individuals to come into their power to escape these cycles of dominance and abuse.
