You are Latino because of your family heritage. At first I thought the dog was jumping in a swimming pool not a baptismal font. :-) I am starting to learn Spanish from your videos. I now know "Hola" and something else I forgot now. :-) Mr. Doughnut was always my go to doughnut place. People hid away from the Elephant Man too as I recall but I don't know why seeing you would send them scattering. :-) I figured it out you have unusually long arms from carrying video cameras. :-)

@JayCeeMax3 жыл бұрын
Thanks Francisco. But what is there to understand about Latino culture if I am already Latino and live a Latino lifestyle every single day of my life? Also, "Latino" has nothing to do with race or in simpler terms, the color of a persons skin. There is no "Latino culture" that a "black man" is trying to learn or understand. There is only "Latino" without any delineations. The color of the skin of the Latino person doesn't matter. Thanks for watching.

You are Latino because you are Hattian American. Hatti is part of Latin America, Hattian creole is based off of French which is a romantic Latin language, as well Spanish, French and Portuguese. It was Napoleon the 111 who supported the term during the French occupation of Mexico to refer to French, Spanish and Portuguese colonial territories and its inhabitants. Aside from the terminology aspect, as a Hattian you share similar roots with the rest of Latin of America witch is a amalgam of the Latin European colonizers, the trans Atlantic African slave trade and last but not least the highly inter connected Native Americans. We are like Semitas, where ever you find one of us we have are own flavor lol!

Haiti is most definitely a “Latin American country.” In fact, the island of Hispaniola was the first European settlement in the Western Hemisphere where Christopher Columbus and other Spanish and French colonialists had settled. So, technically, both Haiti and the Dominican Republic are the first “Latin” countries in the Americas and many European colonialists who eventually settled to other Latin American and Caribbean countries had Hispaniola as their original starting point.

Hi Jay Cee Max! We’re over here catching up a day later on this video. So mom (who is from El Salvador) watches your videos with me & she said you are right, that piece of bread was not Semita. 👎🏼 Semita usually has more sweet/jelly. That one looked like it had way too much bread and not enough atado de dulce (what is know as Panela or Piloncillo). Bummer! You always trick us with the negotiations at the stores when you buy things, but you always teach us how we can be a blessing to others. 🙏🏼 May you continue to be blessed. To answer your question, how are you Latino? Well if our memory serves us correctly, you mentioned you are from Haiti/have a Haitian background. Haiti is considered a “Latin American country” based on its geographical location. The island of Hispaniola was the first European settlement in the Western Hemisphere where Christopher Columbus and other Spanish and French colonialists had settled. Added bonus, your Spanish is 👍🏼 Enjoy your travels through El Salvador. We’ll be watching. Also, have you ever visited Puerto La Libertad & Surf City? Hopefully, in the future 🤞🏼🤞🏼
