For the rain in Ireland, a lot of shops here sell stuff for farmers and I'd recommend buying "oils". A jacket and pants that you can wear over your normal clothes that keeps you totally dry. I went out in a hurricane in them before and when I came back inside not one droplet had gotten inside them. My dad wears them to work on the farm, so when I need to walk our dog I borrow them.

The best highlight of Ireland for me was pulling up at a rural garage, which one side was a pub, the other a funeral parlour…..we were lost and hadn’t seen any people about but luckily there were two guys chatting outside. We wound down the window and asked “ which way is it to Mondello Park race circuit?” As we asked, both guys, one standing slightly behind the other, pointed in opposite directions down the road. Then, the one standing slightly in front, who acknowledged our confusion, asked, “ well where would you be coming from?” I replied “ from here” ❤ can’t beat Ireland, lovely peeps😂

One thing to keep in mind you two when "wild" swimming in the ocean. Those waves can easily hide a riptide that will have you carried out to sea in no time. Enjoy but be aware and if you haven't, learn how to get yrouself out of a riptide. They are powerful and can be deadly. Absolutely gorgeous scenery. Thanks for another awesome video. Stay safe.

Hi girls, don't give up on the Fanny chat, it makes me laugh. One bit of advice, when in more remote areas, there may be a reason to evacuate quickly. You should always park up in a manner that if necessary (odd balls playing around, suddenly rising tides and rivers, etc.), you can drive out forwards without getting out of the van. It also helps if necessary to be towed out forwards rather than backwards. Your personal security should always come before the nice views. Obviously on this occasion backing in for the view made perfect sense.

Another brilliant video, so glad you're enjoying our crazy weather on our crazy little island 😊 Fun fact for Emily.. . Thats why the towns in the south west are so colourful

The planning laws here in Ireland are really strict, even more so in places like Dingle. One off housing is not permitted, your only chance is to buy land with a house already on it. Even then you're very restricted on what you can do. Families that have lived here for generations cannot build on their own land, it's become a rather divisive situation. Also property prices have gone through the roof here and show no signs of stabilising anytime soon.

Brilliant filming, editing and content. Loved that opening sequence, I stopped the vidio to just take in that sunrise/sunset vista. Its great fun watching your antics, and the scenery is captured brilliantly as you drive. Memories of Dingle came flooding back; we arrived in pouring rain after a filthy wet day on the motorbike, we found a room for the night with a picture window overlooking the harbour, and after showering and a change of clothes, we sat sipping whiskeyand thawing out watching the weather beating at the window in the dark night. We slept like the dead that night. Keep safe,👋

I would look further east into Cork as there's less rain after the clouds can't get past the mountains. Anywhere exposed to the sea and the West will get a batttering from the wind and rain all winter long. I would look at places with more shelter and which benefit from the subtropical microclimate such as the Kenmare river and West Cork.
