I'd really love some series that covers each map in depth and how you should consider them differently. It'd just be nice to have one centealized place instead of piecing together the vod reviews and pro analysis. This video definitely helped a lot with split particularly, but I'm genuinely not sure which other maps reward mid presence as much/which other maps call for different adaptations

I think youre depending a little too much on just videos, you should know when a mid presence is needed more and not intuition but by adapting to the enemies, how do they react to you playing mid, how do they play around it, if you do have mid in most rounds what will they do to counter it and how will you play to their counters etc (ask yourself during your games what should I be doing, why am I doing this, how are they playing against us) learning the game > learning a particular map or plays (altho not saying you shouldnt, its a good thing to see which is a good play and which isnt i improved because of these same videos, but centralizing all of it to one video makes it that "Oh he told me to play like this" when it wasnt particularly the play atm and i think banana addressed this in an old vid)

also, not necessarily IGL, but using comms asking your team the same questions and relaying info and what to do with that info helps alot, its surprising how big of a difference a simple info comms make, Also in the post notes: understanding win conditions is lit

Split is my favorite map because I lurk everywhere with Cypher, and seeing the bomb not being planted in open due to no mid presence/miscomms every round made me physically recoil. Just takes one comm for the right plant to happen too, man. orz

Yeah I kind of want to see some of this guys other vods because either he has developed a phobia of this map due to poor performance (due to the basic brim understandings and split flow understandings) that cause some of his bad gunfight fundamentals displayed here but must play much better on other maps or I have no idea how he is an ascendant.

WOOHOOJIN! I have tried everything I can to boost my FPS for Valorant, this being watching multiple videos about FPS boosting for val and following their advice. However, now, my FPS average is around 10. Should I quit Valorant because of this? It is really annoying and bugs me a lot, and I can't get it higher for the life of me.

i used to be brim main now i am breach,jett and cypher main.... but one thing which really improved my gameplay of brimstone was smoke placement and it was also taught by wise banana to someone else but i picked it up after those smokes plays, even if i was bottom fragging my whole team just keep appreciating me for those best smokes.... i never submitted my vod due to low end pc otherwise surely i would have loved to get reviews by woohoojin to improve my gameplay so now i usually see other players vod and learn many things from them.

Man said B was the LEAST likely to get hit on Split!? Like what?? B is far and away the most likely site to get hit on split pistol round.

Could be, but it is not brim's job to hold B on attack. The reason B does not look good for attackers on pistol round is because 1 slow orb, or wall, or molly, or even a popflash will fkup the rush. Plus they won't have armor on pistols, so mollies are infinitely stronger here. Brim can hold B, sure, but he won't be able to smoke A if needed, whereas someone else can hold B just as well as brim could. Going A main on the other hand can transition into different plays for the attackers: Go straight to site, or maybe take heaven control and even go vents-to-B from there, Or if coordinated enough go through CT to B (woohoojin special). Mollies can be used to hold A main, sure, but can you molly both A main and ramps at the same time? They're better used over at B main or for B retake than for holding A imo. Last point: Flanking is pretty strong in pistol rounds, especially the fast ones since no one really expects to be flanked in the first round of the game. Now which do you think has a faster flank timing, B garage flank through mid? or A flank through sewers?

btw if u do this trow shorty on ground thing in silver or bellow there's like a 30% chance that an ally will steal your gun (I really mean it, it already happend to me more than once, sometimes they don't even want to play shorty, they had a ghost or something, but they see a gun they need to steal it), so I don't do it cuz it's not worth the risk (I play omen so shorty retake is doable)

I mean, the chance of me dying or losing a kill cuz of that is small I know, but if it happens it's really frustrating And really, shorty retake is fine with omen, I would probably use it instead of classic anyway, this is just one more reason
