I have seen this in patients who cut stone/brick and even in people who dump building waste. What is the life expectancy of a person with silicosis? The survival times of silicosis stage I , II and III, from the year of diagnosis to death, were 21.5, 15.8 and 6.8 years, respectively. There was 25 % of the silicosis patients whose survival time was beyond 33 y. The mean death age of all silicosis cases was 56.0 y

I'm 71 years old and have completed major renovations both in the UK and in France. My dad was a builder and his dad was a builder. They used the line method all those years ago, (except is was feet and inches of course) so it is so good to see such a "young" builder using tried and trusted methods and producing high quality work. Well done "Izzy".

I did an octagon shaped deck recovery like this. My neighbor called me and asked if I’d take a look. 6 inches out of level on the piers over 6 foot. Cant believe people have the brass the call themselves tradesmen and charge people for crap like this. I’m a carpenter and can lay brick and block better than this and I can’t lay bricks. Lol. Good for you Izzy. Put a smile back on the clients face.

Seeing as all measures are out on the block and brickwork why have you assumed the footings are sound to build off? Did you check it with core samples to check depth, width and quality of concrete. You may be building a nice extension on porridge which you are liable for.

The problem is that these rough as fuck cowboys always get paid & never get knocked. But blokes who try and do a pucker job often get fucked about for their money or clients think you're eBay & trying haggling you down. Personally I do not haggle at all these days, my price is my price if you want me to do the work because I was recommended the client should know he's getting a fair price for r quality of work already.

Great work. I smiled at the 'matching the old imperials'. Our builder built our house, first of two, then the factory broke down when he was just starting the second. Planning required 'the same bricks' so he got the next nearest which was a few mil shallower than the original. The finished building had all sorts of bodges to get round the height change.

Great job!! I've been working for the last few months as a Working supervisor. Luckily. All our heights are non structural for the external build. First main job doing this. Even though I would love to take on my own jobs. But the anxiety I get is close to crippling me! I get a good amount of my boss with positive feed back and in true terms if some thing goes wrong its ok but at nights! All I seam to hit is the what ifs. During work time its all ok but its the off time that really gets me. Even though I know everything is good. the worry if there is enough material on site to keep the guys working. I know it gets to a point but I really struggle with parts like that even when they know It might end!

I was an apprentice with British rail. All I ever seemed to lay were imperial Staffs. Lots of arch, and tunnel work.
