It was in 2002. Lara was facing hard times , both on the personal (health, love betrayal and breakup) and professional (her progress blocked in the US by her own record company) sides. Her fanbase knew it and wanted to show support and they used this song, her biggest hit, in France, but also in Russia and Eastern Europe, replacing the title” Je t’aime / I love you” by “On t’aime / We love you”. I love how Lara, after the initial surprise, establishes a beautiful dialog with the crowd, giving them room to sing with her. It shows how benevolent and humble she is. C’est comme pour son concert From Lara with Love à Montréal , où il y a toujours eu un petit débat fin 1999 ou début 2000.
